Atwoods — Attraction in Ponca City

When this store first opened I truely loved the place. We buy farm supllies and I also used to purchase firearms and ammunition from here but as of late that has all changed. When the store first opened there selection of firearms was pretty decent and we bought my wife a Glock 23. The price was competitive and the staff was well trained and knew what they we talking about. This simply is no longer the case. We recently went in looking for a soft case for my wifes Kimber 380. I asked the person behind the counter if we could see the kimber 9mm micro as its close to the sa me size as my wifes 380. I said nothing to indicate that my wife may or may not have had the gun on her person yet she started to tell me that if she wanted to try her gun to see if the case would fit that we would need to surrender her gun to said person behind the counted so they could make it safe. I said to person behind the counter that if ahe did have her gun with her there is no way in hell my wife is going to give it to her for any reason and that I didnt ask that question... I asked to see the gun behind the counter to see if it would fit the case. She just overheard my wife and I talking and assumed we were dumb and would present a gun in the store. These people selling guns are not God and should stop acting like it because they are behind the gun counter. Anyway that really turned me off on the store let alone the fact that their selection has went to almost nothing. Gun accesories are almost none excistant here so I wouldn't bother. With all that said I still but my farm supllies and some clothing as well as boots from here. Hopefully someday they will address the lacking sporting goods because it used to be...

The last 2 years everytime we have gone into Atwoods they have been extremely rude! I believe her name is taylen but she was rude along with the morning guy manager! Wouldn’t explain anything to us and then told us they wasn’t Carring the leaf blower anymore that we have purchased a year ago and had a 3 year warranty on, but then told us we had to buy the warranty on the one they found in the back, they was trien to make us buy another warranty, but we asked if they wasn’t going to carry it anymore then why would we buy the warranty! The guy manager got his panties in a wad and started laughing at us and wouldn’t look or speak to us and explain anything And then would whispered and laughed again when we couldn’t hear them speak, then would ignore us, the customer service stinks they need to have them do a course to make sure they have communication skills! I get my dog food and treats here . It's okay . Not So Fast , I have a real issue with Atwood's . I bought a tee shirt 6/18/22 I wore it the following Monday to a Doctor appointment in Edmunds . Today 6/22/22 I put the shirt in the wash then hung it to dry . I noticed black marks on it and looked at the shirt in better life ght . The shirt has become thread bare in several places I took the shirt back to say what's the deal ? . I was told they would not take the shirt back because I washed it . Are you kidding me ? I would not have needed to bring it back had I just never washed it . This. Is a defect and they need to step up and make it right . The shirt was made in China , but even knowing that it does not excuse Atwood's from leaving me out as well . I can promise I will never buy shoes , clothes it anything other than dog food ....
