May 28, 2021 was our first visit to Ponce Inlet Dog Beach! We had a great time! It does cost $10 to get into the park, and parking is pretty easy! It's not a long walk from parking to the beach front and there's trash cans and dog poop bags as well! We got to the beach about 2pm and it wasn't very crowded. Once we paid $10 for entry, you drive about a quarter of a mile down then there's parking by entrances to the beach. We chose the one that is straight ahead at the end of the road, parked on the side of the road and the walk to the beach takes only about 5 mins! The water was cool and clear, the other owners had their dogs on leashes, the sand isn't full of shells or anything either so it was easy to get comfortable and lay down without being stabbed by stuff 😂 The reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5, is (unless the one entrance to the beach we used didn't have it) we didn't see any rinsing or dog washing stations :( which after swimming and the sand, we could have really used. We all were sticky from salt water which made us take probably half the beach sand back with us 😂 So unless we totally missed the spot for it, we didn't see any rinsing stations for humans or dogs😂 But other than that, we had a great time!

My furkids love it here. Not much beach to enjoy... would be nice to be able to have them on the entire shoreline of the park. But we make do with what we've got. And they dont know the difference, so it works well enough. Nice place for a little adventure. Little tiny bit. The charge to get in (while increasing yearly) isnt terrible. It's a fairly decent space for what you're charged. Always clean, with decently polite staff, and a grassy walking area for people and pups who may not want to dive in the sand and the ocean. Also lined with picnic tables and barbeques. It's nice to have access to the inlet beaches, and the short cluster of walking trails and boardwalks.

I thought it was a decent place to take the pup. But noticed a lot of beached jellyfish [ not sure if that is a normal thing or not]. And rocks. So while avoiding jellyfish we had to watch out for rocks. This is the first time we went to the beach. The dog, Rufus, wasnt too sure, but once we got in the water he was happy and was jumping with joy. But he had so much energy and went a little too crazy and cut himself pretty bad on some rocks on the beach. Sadly our trip was shortlived. I could tell he had fun, and he didnt even notice he cut himself at first...but it was pretty bad. if you or your dog is as clumsy as us..maybe this isnt the best place for you guys.

This place was heaven for my dog. We came here multiple times while on vacation since Volusia county isn't dog friendly on the beach. A great place to take pics, walk and enjoy more of what the area has to offer. One negative... Every time we went there were people taking up the back cove area set up for the day to hang out, but they now own the area with their larger dogs off leash and running free. I mean, it looks like a great time, I would have loved to do that, but I don't own the space. Everyone else is going by the rules, don't be so arrogant.. or maybe the park should enforce the leash rules. I loved this place

Great place to spend time with the family and dogs. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. There are plenty of trails and trash cans around for the trash. Lifeguard is in one side of the beach where dogs are not allowed. Be mindful some areas have sharp rocks. Plenty of picnic areas in the area. I think there are about 13, some are close to the beach but the majority are inland. There are shower stations and a house to wash your dog as well. I recommend spending the $20 full year pass instead of spending $10 for only one day.

This is a great dog beach, the water is clean and there are lots of beautiful sea shells along the shores. We saw 3-4 different tortoises while walking the trails. Watch out for your dog drinking the sea water, mine did and he had pretty bad diarrhea right afterwards.. it was his first time at the beach 🌴 It’s 10$ to enter the park and you have the option to re enter one more time throughout the day with no extra fee.
