Chesterton Square (Tammy) the affiliates w/in network recommended, (Fine Thyme Catering) and D.J. failed us on our daughters special day. We recognize that things would not go perfectly, timelines can be off a bit, train running during ceremony; the items that took away from our daughter’s day was nothing other than mismanagement. With written communications (acknowledged by Tammy) and on multiple meetings, Tammy indicated that she would take on the role of “day of events coordinator” and we would not have to be concerned about anything but enjoying the day, including coordinating with the vendors. The timeline was worked on for months, copies were given to Tammy and acknowledged in communications. In short, we requested an open buffet immediately following the ceremony for guest (while pictures were being taken, etc.), printed on 200 ceremony brochures for guest, communicated to caterer directly. It was expressed how important it was for us to not have a long line at the bar (we offered to pay for an extra bartender and was told it was not needed), with an open buffet, a champagne wall in place, appetizers out, it would spread out the guest taking pressure off of the bar, allowed few extra minutes for bride and groom to eat privately, and most would have eaten by the time the bridal party arrived which would take us in to the toast and open dancing following traditional dances. However, buffet was not opened to guest until after bridal party arrived, guest reported waiting 20-30 minutes for a cocktail, champagne wall was not put up at all, toast and dancing delayed b/c had to formerly open buffet for guest... furthermore, instructions were not followed for bride and grooms grand entrance song, the D.J did not do anything to “read the room”, mix up songs provided, help pump up the crowd for money dance, etc. as we were told he would, no mics for ceremony so guest could not hear, instructions for scheduling end of night beignet truck were not followed, brides parents food package was sent home with “hotel guest” on a limo bus not with the parents, and several other items that we do not have enough word space to mention. Sadly, the series of mishaps through the night did not allow me to enjoy the night and take in my daughter’s wedding. So much was lost that night, and it was so discouraging after painstakingly working on this event for well over a year. Honestly, it is like our instructions, although in writing, acknowledged as appreciated as organized, were completely ignored. I shed many tears through the night witnessing all my hard work going to waste and seeing my daughter’s disappointment, something we will never get back. As a person that reads reviews and uses them in my decision making, I do not take them lightly when I’m the one doing the reviewing as I know the impact they can have. I purposely waited before writing this review because I did not want it to come immediately behind such an emotional event. Recognizing that sometimes things just go wrong due to the human element, I first wanted to give the persons in charge a chance to take responsibility and help to mend ways, so I first contacted them directly with copies of agreed upon communications in writing in which they failed. Their unwillingness to take any responsibility speaks to their integrity, they got paid and that is it as far as they are concerned. The remaining vendors that we hired, were great, photographer, videographer, hair and make-up, and transportation, etc. Just so sad that we took steps to avoid certain situations and they were completely ignored by the one person that "sold" us on the fact that she was experienced and had all under control so we could just enjoy the day. Honestly, the past reviews were overall satisfactory, one of the reasons we chose them, but for whatever reason, the ball was majorly dropped on this occasion and not taking responsibility speaks volumes. Take precautions if you are considering this venue and hire your own D.J.! The venue itself is a nice set up and we loved the...

Read moreThis place is only for people who needs to do a wedding or a dance party made for. It could fit in almost 300 people or more I guess, there will be waitress and or waiter for you and help you for what you need to prepare, and it is a very nice and beautiful inside, but when you put a loud music or DJ inside of there, it's too loud! I don't like it it's not my thing! Outside the wall are made of iron and steel, so when the loud sound wave bounce back, it could make you feel little headache and dizziness. But over...
