Toula Burger Co — Restaurant in Ponchatoula

Local Pastor regular customer so regular that when I call and give my name they usually already know me and what I’m gone order. Usually give at least $5.00 tip also. Tonight after Bible study I called in my order the girl I usually talk to wasn’t there, when I got there I realized that I left my wallet home so I went back to the car and scraped up $13.90 cents my order was $14.43 cents I asked the waiter if I can just pay her the difference the next time. She said no and if she did she would get fired by her boss. She said it’s not her Bussiness and she can’t do nothing for me. I didn’t want anything free or even a deal I just wanted to be treated like a regular customer who always pay and tip on top of it.If I was the waiter I would have offered the difference myself. I live to far to go and come back so I had to go by my brothers near by and barrow $39.00 I started to just not even go back and get the order but because I ordered it I went back, but in that whole process Toula lost a regular customer. This restaurant was high on my list of places to try in ponchatoula. I'll start off by saying the price of this establishment is decent. The smash burger is about 11, and the double smash was about 13. That comes with fries! 5-guys would like a whole Benjamin for that meal. Drinks are about $3, and you get refills. Kiddo ordered the grilled cheese, and he was happy! Bread wasn't too big, and it was buttery! I ordered the shrimp poboy, and that's where my excitement ended. I'd like to remind everyone that they won tangi's "best poboy 2024" The shrimp were a disgrace. I only paid $12 for this sandwich with a fry, but added prep could really make this sandwich good. The French bread was great, the breading on the shrimp was great, and the fries were great. Toula burger co, please De-vein your shrimp! It's quick and, in the same cut, it butterflies them, making for a much fuller sandwich and better crunch. If they fix that, I'll be back because this place is a really good deal and a GREAT burger...

I did not know this burger place was until a friend of mine here in Ponchatoulatold me to stop in and get a sandwich. So I decided that I would and I stopped in the establishment and it was nice on the inside and so I looked at the menu and that's when the problems began. It is not the biggest menu in the world but it has everything on there that I like so I'm confused now. So I did what I always do order the shrimp po-boy and it was made to perfection I mean it was delicious. So I feel kind of guilty because my wife wasn't with me and I wonder what it was that she would probably like so I did what I thought would make her happy getting her to roast beef po-boy. So I ordered a roast beef po-boy and I ordered the oyster po'boy to go and that's the best thing I could ever do I mean this place is off the chain.
