Went in today looking for oolong tea, found the tea and oh so much more! This store may be a bit hidden but it is worth the hunt. They have sake, spices, noodles, rice, teas, toys, collectibles, and so many other staple groceries for any asian oriented dish that I found myself in awe. I travel a lot and I especially love when I find a place like this tucked away, it is its own reward. The owner was a great help in recommending the right sake, because I can't pass the chance to get it when I can, giving me advice on what was best served hot and cold. Read moreWhen i first came to this place, I was already geeked out when i saw these items from Pop culture like Mitsuya Cider from when Rick Astley promoted it in a commercial in Japan, Caloriemate as an food item in Metal Gear Solid 3, and Pucchao, Imuraya, Boss Coffee, Calbee, and Yoshinoya brands promoted in the Yakuza Series. Read moreTokyo market has a lot to offer for being such a small place. The owner is very friendly and after going for awhile, it feels like I'm visiting a friend. Plenty of Japanese groceries, snacks, teas, dishware, and accessories to choose from. I love this place so much! Lastly, if you love green tea ice cream and mochi ice cream, the ones they sell here are the best in the area (waaayyy better than what Trader Joe's and other places sell).
