Went on 4th of July to watch the fireworks from the Mississippi River.. It was great.. Great view of the state capital.. the music was very good.. the place is very clean and they had play areas for the kids.. benches.. old lamp posts that I love.. its on the levee with a concrete walkway.. completely accessible to those in wheelchairs or mobile chairs.. lots of history and information on the site.. good family place.. we got Cuban sandwiches from the food truck.. delicious.. only have food at certain events.. but thats okay..
