So I'll start off by saying this place has wonderful food. My husband and I came to eat here often. However, we were highly disappointed with the customer service regarding a custom cake we ordered. The quality of the decorations were beautiful, but it was NOT what was requested. (I asked for a gender neutral cake with rainbow macaroons, received an all white one) When we brought it back to be fixed, it was rushed and still not right. This was for a gender reveal party the next day.
When we came in to discuss what happened the following week, there was zero apology or ownership of the miscommunication for the cake by Chris or Christina. We were offered a refund for the macarons we were mistakenly charged for, but told the cake was not their fault, and refused any sort of apology or solution to make up for the situation. Several times “rainbow” was acknowledged to be on the order when myself or others asked, but I had been told “we didn’t know what it meant”. I just wished I received a clarifying phone call to help them out.
I had been so excited to order a cake from this business, and I was devastated with how the situation was handled. Unfortunately we will no longer return...

One of us would end up with very little ground meat with overloaded lettuce. So tonight, we decided to try again, this time we both had very little ground meat and we both had several hard chunks of grayish meat that resembled nothing like ground meat. After working long hours this week, we just wanted a good taco salad, like we had when we first started going to this business. My husband & I both agreed, we will not be back. Very disappointed we waisted $22 dollars yet we didn’t enjoy our meal, as most went in the trash! As you can tell from the second picture, the real ground meat is on the left, what the hard grayish meat is on the right or between my fingers, I have no idea!
My husband & I have eaten there a few times and the food is delicious! The cakes & bake goods are fantastic & the staff is very friendly! We will be...
Read moreI ordered a fried shrimp poboy with onion rings. It was the worst poboy that I can remember having eaten. The shrimp were small, too salty, and over cooked. The onion rings were obviously frozen and one was cold in the middle despite being overcooked. I was so frustrated that I drove immediately to Court Street Cafe--right around the corner and I ordered a fried shrimp poboy to compare. The difference was astounding! The presentation---even though it was a to-go order-was great. The shrimp were much larger and cooked perfectly. I called Court Street Cafe and let them know how much better their poboy was compared to The Poboy House. I'm not sure that I will be back there. As a side note, my coworker had a pot roast poboy from The Poboy House and it much much better. Maybe I picked the wrong menu item, but I figured all of their poboys...
