All I wanted was some Ice cream... Night before last I placed a Delivery order for 4 pints of Ben Jerry's Ice cream. Yesterday morning I got a text message informing me that half of my order was out of stock. You charge $4.66 for every pint. You charge me $7.99 delivery fee, and demand I then tip the delivery agent to bring the food to me. I have spent over $5300 so far this year at this store. I also utilize the pharmacy. B.T.W.---who's the Ice Princess answering the phone who thinks it's ok to cajole and condescend YOUR customers, then hang up on them when they ask for a name? My order was slashed in half as two of the pints were out of stock AFTER I ordered them, yet you list them as available on your web page. Do you think it's legal to "bait & switch" your customers that way? Used to, I'd get a phone call and you'd offer me a chance to pick something else. Not any more. Now I am just given what you think I need and not what I asked for. Why isn't the store manager stepping up to get his store back in line? Shame on you for stranding me! And shame on "Hey Everybody! Bend over!" for letting it happen. Enjoy the sunburn I just gave you. Hope you have some Solarcaine to treat it. OH...WAIT...
August 12, 2024- You answered my complaint with a flimsy generic response? "Thank you for letting us know what needs improving. We're sharing your feedback about the substitution process with the right Partners in our eStore." Wow. What a show of concern. I was hoping for a call from you to clear the air on this, but I see you either are too busy, not enough concerned, or you just don't give a ** about Customer Service to clean up your mess. What a disgrace. Maybe I should pony up the dough to start shopping at Walmart with all the other victims of heartless profiteers like you. For shame. " H-E-B used to mean "Quality. NOW it just means Selfishness. Disgusting. SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR BLATANT SHOW OF CORPORATE GREED. By The Way...YOU STILL HAVE MY MONEY FOR THE PURCHASE NEVER MADE. DO YOU PLAN ON KEEPING THAT TOO?
November 12, 2024--- It appears your store manager saw my review of your company and your "Customer Service' department. I can log in to my account, but your new e-Captcha software behaves as if I now have a store associate following me around the shelves. As soon as I place something in my basket, the software REMOVES it and puts it back on the shelf. "Error Code "403". "Forbidden Action". OK...You don't want my business in your store? Fine. Now I go to Social Media to tell the world that even H-E-B isn't safe from Corporate Greed. My account will be closed as soon as I transfer my Pharmacy info to another, more accommodating store. You just lost my business, and my trust. Never...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered through the app for delivery. The system took me to favor for delivery from H-E-B. The delivery driver took a picture of a crumpled receipt and texted after the delivery was made. The order was completely wrong. I was very specific with the items and even listed each price. I called the H-E-B and explained the situation. The representative stated that I could have it re-delivered or I could make the return in store. I opted for the return in store so I could ensure the items were correct. It was a lot of items, so I wanted to be sure of where I needed to go. I have some physical handicaps and it's sometimes difficult for me to carry heavy items. I get to the store and the lady at the door directs me to find a manager in a blue shirt. I find a manager and explain the situation. She tells me I need to go to curbside. At this point I'm frustrated because I've been directed to you. I get to curbside and they direct me back to the store for a manager with a blue shirt. Why doesn't anybody know what to do???? I refuse to lug these groceries back into the store, so they call a manager out to curbside. He then tells me that they don't have delivery through favor. It's a different type of favor. I literally used the app and it took me to favor through your app. I am also standing out in the heat with this conversation. For a few minutes, i explained that the app took me to favor and it did not specify that you all use a certain kind of favor. I also explained that the receipt is from the delivery person, but my debit card was charged. We were finally able to get to me being refunded. That was EXTREMELY frustrating and I will not be using the app or the delivery services again. I have health issues and this was supposed to be a convenience, but it most certainly was not. The incorrect items was not the fault of the H-E-B employees, but they should have a system in place for when the order...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat visit shopping today. I found everything I was looking for and then some. I got a late start shopping today and was afraid I might not get everything I needed. I feared that the shelves would need restocking, but not today. I was seeing full shelves. I was not going to need to make another trip out shopping to get everything on my list. Then, at checkout, there was a short wait. My full basket was bagged carefully by the best bagger I have ever seen. No overstuffed bags crushing vegetables or bread. Bags were tied shut that needed it. Excellent work! Her name was Taylin, and that girl deserves a raise and a promotion. Thanks, HEB!!!
Update: Yesterday, my HEB visit was during the prime shopping peak. I am always worried that I'm gonna be stuck in line at checkout forever. Well, I must say that even when your in a line 3 deep, which is rare because there are plenty of lanes open, it has never taken me more than 5 to 6 minutes at the most before it's my turn. This is even behind large purchases like mine of 150$ to 450$. All the cashiers and baggers are fast and know how to do their job properly. Great work, HEB!!!
Update: A few months ago, HEB reorganized the whole store. I had a difficult time doing my usual shopping. Since then, I have been reacoustomed to the location of my items, but now I have found some new products to add to my regular list. I guess that was their plan, so I guess that worked out for us both....
