Let me start by saying that to anyone who is considering getting a membership here, I donāt recommend it at all. I would highly recommend finding another gym. Iāve honestly never written a bad review in my life but after making several phone calls to the owner, Courtney, to resolve the issue with no success I feel compelled to let everyone know my experience so that you can hopefully avoid it. My boyfriend and I went in asking for the shortest commitment they offered, which at the time was 3 months. I let the person at the front desk know very clearly that I would be moving out of state in about 2.5 months and that I didnāt want to be charged after the 3 months. They assured me I wouldnāt be. I then signed a contract and left. That was in April. I have been living in N.C. for months now and went to close my Michigan bank account which happened to be the one they had on file and realized I was still being charged. At that point my boyfriend and I contacted the gym on September 11th and were told that a manager would call back. Called again the 18th and was finally called back the 19th. After being charged an additional annual fee that would have been avoided had my membership been cancelled the 11th when I called originally. When I finally got in touch with an owner, Courtney, she let me know that there was NO WAY her employee had told me that and even if they had that it was written in my contract and they had no obligation to refund me any money. After reading through the contract I realized that I had in fact signed allowing them to continually take money out but hadnāt read through carefully enough because the employee assured me I wouldnāt be charged after 3 months. This was of course my mistake to take someoneās word while signing something which I totally admit. I asked Courtney to refund the last month and annual fee as I was told conflicting information and I had not been in the gym in months. She told me to think of it from a business perspective and that it didnāt make ābusiness senseā, completely disregarding business ETHICS. I hate to have to write such a detailed review because I know not many people care to hear every detail of my experience but I want to be absolutely sure Iām telling everything. My boyfriend wrote a similar review about our experience in less detail and has been getting texts from the owner telling him he absolutely has to take it down and they have done nothing wrong and it will hurt their business, threatening to call lawyers for slander instead of trying to fix the situation in any way. Iāve never experienced a business that cares so little about having their customers walk away happy with their experience and with that being of such high value to me, I felt compelled to let other people know my experience...

I had noticed they took another payment January 1st 2019 and that was completely my fault as i had forgotten that i needed to go into the facility (in person) and cancel my membership so between January 5th and the 12th 2019 i went in and talked to a guy at the counter and told him i was there to cancel my membership. He asked my name and wrote it on a piece of paper, then asked the reason for canceling, i told him my 1 year was up. Asked for my phone number then wrote it down and said im all set.
February comes and i notice another payment was made February 1st 2019! So i called and talked to someone. He took my name and number and said he will have someone contact me. No one contacted me!!
February 28th 2019 my wife tells me that there is a pending transaction to the gym again. So i went back up there February 29th 2019 as soon as i got out of work and talked to a girl this time and my experience was a little different as she had me print and sign a paper and write my reason for canceling. Sure enough the payment came out March 1st!
Now today is March 15th 2019 and guess what another pending transaction is showing. So i call and talk to Kaitlyn and ask if i can speak to a manager. She says can i ask the reason? So i explained that money is still being taken out of my account after i cancelled my membership. She asked for my name and my number and said someone will contact you. I asked her to check and see if it showed in her computer that my membership had been cancelled. She said no its still showing that im active! I asked for her to switch it!
I contacted my bank and had to dispute the payment and get a new debit card so they cant take another payment from me!
PLEASE IF YOUR GOING TO SIGN UP AT THE CUTTING EDGE PAY WITH CASH SO YOU DONT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS I DID.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen in a battle over there tanning sence we have gotten our membership several bulbs blown and was told many many times bulbs are on there way and now it's been 4 months and haven't even been able to use there tanning at all sence we got the membership want out of the membership and now they want to charge us each $200 for early cancelation even tho they can not fix there tanning. I have texts emails and call logs to prove it all we are very unsatisfied with cutting edge and just want out of the contract because we can go somewhere eles that has tanning g that works and we have been paying the $30a month for 4 months now and can't even get to tan this whole time told many of the employees that I would like to speak to the owners to resolve this issue and to talk o them about getting out of the contract without being charged the 200 for early cancelation because they are not giving us what we pay for I do not recommend this gym to. Anyone at all I would if they would cancel our membership with out charging us 200 bucks but they won't and the thing is we don't even want out money back just not to be charged $200for cancelation of our membership hopefully they will stop our membership and not charge us 200 for it like there...
