Subway — Restaurant in Fort Gratiot Charter Township

Very disappointing experience at this location tonight. Customer service was poor. I was given attitude when I said I had a coupon. When I asked for provential herbs to be added to my sandwich I was told they knew nothing about it, despite the advertisement on the glass casing listing all the recommendations to be added to the sandwiches. I also ordered a dozen cookies. Instead of receiving them in a plastic container 6 were shoved into one bag and 6 more into another. When I arrived home the cookies had crumbled. Before leaving I asked for my receipt and received an eye roll. My teens that ordered after me weren't even given their receipts.

Every time my family and I visited this location before we have received nothing but wonderful customer service.

Subway is a great place to get a quick bite to eat, and I feel that this particular location is one of the best. I would have given it five stars, if only we didn't have to go somewhere else this time. I am pretty picky when it comes to what type of bread I eat with my sandwiches, and they seem to always be out of flat-bread no matter which one I go to. Being a person who doesn't particularly care for normal sub bread, I decided not to eat here, but to go somewhere else. This was not indicitive of the normal quality of this particular location. This place always has fresh vegetables, and condiments too. Unfortunately for the last thing are the prices. Before the pandemic the prices were really good, but now they have escalated quite rapidly. Restructuring makes sense, but I don't eat at Subway as much as I used to just because...

Popped in to say hello to the Assistant Manager and after greeting the manager I was blatantly ignored and upon my departure after purchasing a 20 oz soft drink, I wished the manager a farely well and again was ignored. The other employees seem jolly and helpful and considerate, while the manager ( the physical representative of the store itself) presents a melancholy morose attitude and to treat a patron with such disdainful disregard is quite discouraging.
