Their prices used to be pretty decent, but now like all the other Goodwills in the area, they do this "Fashion Focus" garbage. I'm not sure who decides what's designer, but the amount of times I've seen something "designer" in that area priced for more than it was new is, well, many. I just saw several knockoff items priced at $35. That knockoff probably cost $50 new, and is now stained and worn. You can still find the occasional good deal, but for a place that is getting all their merchandise for free.... you'll do better finding stuff online. Let's not forget their regional CEOs are making near 1 million a year, and their executives are raking it in too. If you want a place with decent prices, head to St. Vincent De Paul. The picture is some of their crazy pricing. Those shoes are $19.99 brand new, marked $24.99!

Well I love goodwill! I can’t lie about that! But they are pretty pricey, being that it’s goodwill, I remember when they priced things based on quality rather than the label on the clothing. Which is kind of disheartening. But sometimes we find good toys there and those are usually well priced. I like that they put batteries in most of the toys, so you usually know if the toy works before buying it! They have lots of phone chargers and even sometimes laptop chargers, but I sometimes wonder where the laptops go that the charger came with. People don’t usually give the charger and keep the laptop? That would be odd? Often the cute women’s shoes are in size 10 or 11. The employees are generally very kind and I like that about this place.

I cannot believe an employee would do something so dishonest and messed up to a customer. I am in this store quite a bit and have been mistreated left and right. I never have bothered to report anyone because that's just not the kind of person I am. However what happened to me on my last visit to this goodwill is just unacceptable and I will be reporting this employee. Last Friday May 20th they had just announced that it was 9 and the stop is now closed. I was next in line to pay for my items and hanging on a display right there at the registers was a few different jewelry items. In the mix just hanging there was a beautiful, possibly real gold bracelet for $2. I couldn't believe it. I grabbed it and was so excited because even if it wasn't real I absolutely loved the design. Just then the register farthest from the entrance opens up so I put my things down and the woman behind the register starts ringing up my items. The lady at the register says something along the lines of "oh you don't get to pay $2 for that, that is not enough" and puts something under the counter. I'm distracted by the big deal the were making about closing the store when she did this so it didn't dawn on me till TODAY that she had actually taken that bracelet from me. And I watched her ring it up. So I don't realize what has just taken place so when I pay, she asks me if I want a receipt, and not knowing She has just pulled a fast one and being distracted by other things going on I said no I probably won't need it SEEING AS HOW THIS PLACE ROBS YOU WHEN IT COMES TO RETURNS. You only have one week to return an item and they give you a gift card no exceptions. So now that I realize this employee has now stolen from me because I saw her ring that bracelet up, I can't necessarily prove what she did because she got me to forfeit my receipt. And since when do employees ask you if you want a receipt? They always just give you one so she knew exactly what she was doing. She deserves to be fired, on the spot. I can't believe the nerve...

I thought this place was called Goodwill, not Greedwill.

I can't believe the outrageous prices. I can go to Macy's clearance and get a NEW $80 dress for $10-15, the general price range for a USED dress at Goodwill. Sales with 50% off may be a good deal if you're lucky but good luck finding anything.

I've seen Wal-Mart brand items being sold for more than they cost new at Wal-Mart. Who is in charge of prices here? I'd rather go to the Gig Harbor location. They have much better deals EVEN without discount days.

I was looking at a pair of cute gloves that were clearly used and a little worn out. They were asking $5! The quality was NOT worth it even if they were adorable. I can buy 5 pairs at dollar tree and have 5 times the item for the same price. 😒

Get it together Port Orchard Goodwill. The company used to represent something wholesome. I know inflation exists and it costs money to run a business, but choose your battles. Stop overcharging for items that aren't worth (definitely not) the price you're asking. I'd happily pay $5 for the same pair of gloves if they were new. But used and falling apart? Seriously?

Employees are sweet and generally very helpful, so this does not reflect on them. Clean store and recently they've reorganized and the experience was better BUT the prices of items had me running out the door. You're better off going to department stores for sales or clearance. You're going to spend the same amount so might as...

The greed at goodwill is just disgusting at this point. St Vincent de Paul is right up the road and they don’t gouge people for free donations given to them by the community they serve. They actually do good, and are still thrift prices. I don’t shop here and I don’t donate here, I never will. And to the response team on all of your terrible reviews, save us all the eye-rolling bullshit about “moNeY goES to job TraiNing!” That’s not true, you try to make customers pay for the job training on top of already insane pricing at checkout by guilting us into rounding up to the nearest dollar. Stop asking people shopping at a thrift store to pay for what you claim to be gouging us for. What a joke. Shame on all of you, no one is buying your nonsense corporate excuses to squeeze profits out of everyone. And to anyone thinking of dropping this greedy corporation all together, please visit the goodwill subreddit for true stories from employees on what they’re really up to, how they treat the disabled employees, how they literally pay people cents an hour, and how they throw away items that could go to help the less fortunate or keep homeless folks warm because they can’t profit from it, THEY DO NOT HELP THE COMMUNITY OR ANYONE, not one little bit. Goodwill is trash, just like Amazon...
