I’ve been shopping here for quite some time now and I like the Consignment store for the most part. prices are high on some things but I usually shop on sale days so I get it cheaper. When I first started going there, They told me I could sign up for a loyalty program and I’d get special deals and points for every purchases and get money off after so many points. I thought oh that’s cool.
I know I had reached so many Loyalty points At one time and I was able to use my points on sale items with no problem. The next time I had racked up points and went to check out. The lady told me I couldn’t use my loyalty points on sale items and it’d have to be in regular price items. I thought that was crazy cause I was able to do it a couple months back.
So I was like okay whatever I’ll just save up my points and look for something that not on sale to use my loyalty points on. Mind you I spend atleast $30/$40 everytime I go in the store. Yesterday I had $10 in loyalty points that I wanted to use on an item that was $15 and NOT on sale. I was told I could only use $5 of my points for each transaction! WHAT! I can’t use all of my points that I earned from buying at your store on one purchase!
I asked to speak to the manager and a lady who said she was the manager working that day told me that them were the rules. I asked her why they keep on changing the rules of the loyalty program and she couldn’t answer me. I also said why aren’t the rules posted on the store wall to notify customers of the changes and she said that they didn’t think they needed to advertise the rules Loyalty points program. Well, if you’re gonna keep on changing how the loyalty program works then YES you should advertise it so people know.
I also asked where the owner was and if i could speak to the owner but she said the owner doesn’t come in. So I asked to speak to somebody higher than her she said another manager will be there Monday, but told me she would Probably tell me the same thing about the Loyalty program. I Know I can’t be the only one that checks their points to see how much money they have off to save on an item or items. It’s a real shame how this...

Will NEVER be back. Due to shoulder/back problems, I wear a small backpack purse. It's NOT a book bag/backpack like for school. It's obviously a purse. I've been in this store a thousand times wearing this same backpack purse and no one ever said a word to me.
Yesterday I was approached and told that I needed to put my "backpack" up at the desk.
I refused. NO ONE is having access to my credit cards, social security card or phone, except me.
The girl accepted my refusal and walked off.
I looked around and - as usual - found nothing of interest, but asked for a manager before I left.
Of course there wasn't one. She was at the bank or some ridiculousness that should have waited until later in the afternoon. I used to work retail. You DON'T go to the bank mid morning.
Spoke to a shift manager (whom I've seen many times and even spoken to) and explained that even she had seen me wear the backpack purse the MANY times I've been in there.
She gave me a laughable reasoning that they have cameras at the counter. That means what? Like thousands couldn't be charged on my credit cards or my SS# used after they're stolen and the damage done before or even IF the person is caught?
As much money as you people overcharge for these FREE items you get, if you don't want people carrying bookbags/backpacks/large purses (which I saw a few of. Nothing was said to those women!) then invest in some small lockers with locks and keys (like some antique stores have) and spare people your lame excuses.
I'm a 55 year old grandmother. The LAST place I need to steal from is an overpriced THRIFT store that I've probably donated to when I've set items to the curb with those cards attached from the mail. WAY overpriced, but the sales are incredible, so it balances out, depending on what you buy. I've found a few things there, not much, but it's close and again, INCREDIBLE sales balance out their ridiculous prices. I'm just personally, not overly impressed, but it's a regular hangout of mine in hopes of finding that one,...
Read moreUPDATE: As this store has been open for a year now I am still a regular customer, still would rather shop here than any other thrift store around. That being said, I was in today and witnessed another customer harassing an employee about the stores prices and how she can't afford anything in the store and they need to lower the prices or she wouldn't return... to the people like this, YOU REALLY NEED TO GET OVER YOURSELF... These amazing employees do not work their butt's off at a minimum wage job to be harassed, they work hard to bring a paycheck home and to provide for their families like anybody else that has a job! I have personally spoken to the manager and the owners as they have explained nothing in the store is donated for free. The owners of this company pay for everything put on the sales floor as well as having to pay all of the great employees who work there.. If you know anything about thrift stores you would understand that they are nothing without the employees who keep it stocked, clean and running on a day to day basis. If you can't afford to shop somewhere, then find somewhere else to shop! We are all going through something in life and nobody deserves to be treated like that, Ms. Deb you are a ROCKSTAR! Keep up the good work, I will continue to shop here and be satisfied every time 😊
Will definitely be back, this is one of the best thrift stores I've been to in years.. the staff is helpful and I love how organized/clean it is. Some of the prices might be a little high, but overall they have good quality items and different sales everyday which is part of the fun in thrifting! They also honor seniors/veterans/teachers/first responders plusss there's a special discount e-mail club so I can save MORE money.. It's an enjoyable experience and I feel good knowing I'm getting a good deal, as well as contributing to the paycheck of the hard workers who make it...
