I have taken vehicles to Reeder's in the past for tire service and they did a good job. This last experience was not the same. I took my van in to have new tires/ alignment done, check the TPMS, fix my AC from not blowing during acceleration, replace my exhaust pipe, check for a coolant leak and change oil and filter. They were able to fix the TPMS and replace the tires, but nothing else was done correctly. I picked the van up and was assured everything was fixed, except the coolant leak, they did a pressure test and couldn't find anything. I drove the van home and before I got home my van was rattling quite loudly I stopped by the gas station and noticed the exhaust that was replaced was now wedged against the bumper of my van and it was making a terrible sound and melting the bumper. I also accelerated and notice the AC blower stopped blowing as it did before. So I took it back and they assured me they would fix these things. When I picked the van up, They assured me it was all fixed. Their fix for the exhaust was to stick a pry bar and force the exhaust forward, so now the exhaust curls towards the front of the vehicle. It looks goofy but works. I was charged $150 for the AC and it still didn't work, so I looked on YouTube and saw how to fix it. It was a $6 check valve and I had it fixed in 5 minutes. I had to add a quarts worth of coolant on our trip to St. Louis. My tires are showing uneven toe wear after a few thousand miles. And the window sticker for when the next oil change is due says 108k miles but my van had 130k miles when I dropped it off. The guys behind the counter were nice, but the actual work performed on my vehicle was sub par. I could keep taking the van back to them to get these items corrected, but I don't trust the quality...
Read moreReeders has to be the best auto repair business in the country!! They truly went above and beyond when helping me get my mom’s car repaired.
My mother needed to get the transmission, fuel pump, wheel bearing and a few other things replaced. There was a constant back and forth for almost 50 days with her insurance company. However, the insurance company was no match for Anthony at Reeders. Anthony was constantly on the phone with the insurance company and giving us updates on what was happening. Long story short, he put in alot of work in what was a frustrating time for my mom, and did it with patience, consistency, and remained hopeful. He had such a great attitude throughout this tiresome experience. We can’t say thank you enough for his hard work and effort.
In fact, the whole team was great while working with us. It seems as if everyone on the team was familiar with the situation when we called and had such a great attitude when we called with questions, and we called a lot!!☺️
In the end, Reeders gave great warranty’s on everything they fixed, which gave us peace of mind. Reeders deserves every award and more coming their way.
What a great place to have as our neighborhood jewel. A place where you are treated fairly, and with kindness, and most importantly, I don’t ever feel as if I’m getting ripped off!!...
Read moreI’m overall really disappointed with Reeders. I was a loyal customer for 1+ years, but recently their services have wasted me so much time and money.
They charge $120 a service hour. I paid to have my vent in my car fixed. It had popped out of its socket. After they fixed it, there was reminisce of glue and cosmetically my vent was chipped. When the front desk was approached by it they said, “I’m not sure if we can replace that part. Give me a day to look into it”. There was no apology for messing up my vents or a call back determining whether or not they can fix what they broke. To top off that scenario, within three days of getting it fixed, the vent popped out of place again. I paid $120 for them to cosmetically damage my car and not fix my vent at all. Also, when they returned my car to me, my air did not work at all. They forgot to plug it back in correctly. I had to return the next day for them to fix it.
Again, I’m generally just sad I wasted my money and time here.
I also paid to have my breaks fixed. The first news ones squeaked really badly so they offered to replace them for free, and the new, new ones also still squeak. Another waste of time, but i guess at least my car knows...
