They weren't helpful after being told to not give dairy products and continued to give it on a tray. Also, mentioned giving stool softener would not be beneficial even with the one pain med after surgery due to having irritable bowel for years. The patients have to use a bathroom shared by 4 residents when they are suffering diarrhea. Won't give over the counter anti-diarrhea without a doctor's order. Gave one dose after going to the nurses station. The room was later equipped with a port a potty. If a person doesn't want to eat or picks on their food, they shouldn't claim they are eating better. Food is on their schedule, unless they leave behind some Ensure or a desert. The rooms were not considered anymore safe from falls with the stuff around. Rooms were dark and gloomy. They used the closet for storage. The large room for activities with the large TV looked more like it was not being used. Expressed my concerns with continuing to give antipsychotics to a person with dementia prescribed by another doctor prior to rehab and was ignored. The button to call was usually on the side of the bed and hard to see. Staff is slow to respond. Could be they don't have the staffing they should. I doubt she has a shower the whole time she was there and we did the laundry, otherwise it went in the general laundry. The remote to the TV was lost and it was a days. I'm positive my Mom already had caught some bug when she left. Got a prescription from the doctor for which she was sick a good couple weeks. But received notice of a POLST order given to the State around...

Would give this place 0 stars if I could, unless you want to see your family member completely fall apart and barely have any life to them then this place is the place for you. My father recently got taken out of here due to drugging him up to the point he could no longer feed himself, go to the bathroom, and eventually fall out of his wheelchair. My dad had fallen due to a seizure he had along with a fall, he had to be here until there was a new place found for him. He recently got taken to the hospital so he could get helped the right way. They were giving my dad 1,250 mg of depakote morning and night since Thursday before he had got taken to the hospital. This care facility should not be allowed to have people...

My granny is here with a broken leg. My husband and I are here everyday and many times I've seen her push her button and she gets ignored. Today one of the other patients addled my husband too help her because her tv remote wasnt working. We let the nurse (colleena) know that and we were told she didn't have time to deal with her. Nobody wants to be stuck in bed in a place like this and especially unable to watch tv. Colleena was very rude and insinuated that the patient was dumb and didn't know how to...
