Mor Furniture for Less — Local services in Portland

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Mor Furniture, primarily due to the false promises made by their sales representative, Dustin. I was enticed by the offer of interest-free financing for 2 years, which seemed like a great deal for my purchase. However, the reality turned out to be far from what was advertised.

Dustin assured me that I could enjoy 24 months of interest-free payments, allowing me to comfortably manage my finances while acquiring the furniture I needed. I made my purchase with this understanding, but much to my dismay, the interest-free period lasted a mere 9 months before I started receiving hefty interest charges on my statement.

This blatant deception has left me feeling cheated and frustrated. It's incredibly disappointing to trust a sales representative and the company they represent, only to be misled and let down. The fact that Mor Furniture allows their employees to make such dishonest claims raises serious concerns about their ethics and customer service.

I urge other potential customers to be cautious when dealing with Mor Furniture and especially when interacting with their sales representatives. This is my opinion about this scam store. I ask all people to listen to my bitter experience with them because I bought some sofas and also other items and paid a warranty for four years and when the sofa was not six months old the recliner stopped working and recently I had an accident and the furniture peeled and my insurance documents said that it covered the damage and when I called to report it, the lady who helped me did whatever she wanted with the claim, she sent me to take pictures of the damage and the next day she told me that it did not cover the damage because she had taken all the photos of the previous damage along with the recent one when that was not true and she manipulated me as she pleased to end up not solving my problem. That is why I tell you that it is the most scam store you can buy from. Please do not be fooled like me and I do not recommend it ever again since I recommended it to all my friends and they bought there because of my reference but I already made you all aware so that you know that if you pay insurance it is...

David Collins was my sales associate & my experience with him was fabulous! He was the perfect salesman. I went into Mor because my daughter knew I was looking for a certain type of couch. I had planned on buying a good slightly used sectional from Offer Up or Craig’s List bc I didn’t feel I could afford what I wanted brand new. I went with my daughter to Mor & I found out how wrong I was! David approached us when we came in & I told him exactly what I was looking for & the price range I had in mind. They were having a great sale & very shortly I found the perfect fit for my needs. David was so low pressure & I really appreciated how he thoroughly answered all my questions & made sure I knew & understood the payment plan, warranty & all the little details insuring I’d need to know in the future. He also told me to give him a call anytime if I needed his help on anything that could come up that I couldn’t handle myself.
