That was surprising. I walked out of my $50 motel down a couple sketchy roads and realized I wanted to get lunch before I kicked off my day in town proper. I stumbled onto a small conglomeration of food trucks in a chain linked block. I decided I would give one a shot.
I went to the counter and noticed a menu item that looked quite tasty by its description and asked the lady for it. Of course I butchered the pronounciation as a white guy eho's never left the west coast of the US, but she corrected me which I appreciated.
In literally 2 minutes only, the food was out and steaming. I opened and dug in.
Literally no part of the meal was not extremely enjoyable. The vegetables and the tofu were perfectly charred, the flat noodles (I forget the name) were sweet, spicy, and firmed how I like. The meal was hot but not searing. Everything was amazing.

Read moreThis is the best fast food Thai I have come across in Portland area . Very authentic and very friendly . I would give this place 6 stars because even though I only eat here every couple weeks they remember all my little quirks of how I like certain dishes and there prices are very lunch and dinner friendly . If your starving one dish will fill you up for a lighter lunch it is enough to share with 2 people . Everything I have tried has been simply delicious with no exceptions they do everything very well in my experience and I have tried most everything on the menu . Vegetarian friendly and I am not sure but maybe vegan too I am neither but I do see people ordering strictly vegetarian...
Read moreI don't even understand what I paid money for, but it's not Thai food. The medium spicy pad thai tastes like it was sauced with ketchup, and the fresh spring rolls are super floppy and seriously seem to have a bagged salad mix stuffed inside. The peanut sauce tastes like just peanut butter + water, there's no fish sauce or oils in it, and tastes pretty elderly. The green curry is the surprising save here, it actually tastes like a green curry, medium spicy. Don't know what went wrong with the other two dishes. I'm honestly kind of speechless and horrified. Fast service, and cute outdoor...
