Hollywood Farmers Market — Attraction in Portland

We used the market as a meeting place for a friend from out of town. On street parking was limited, but still available near by. We wandered around and found may treats. I bought several different veggies and fruits. Everyone was fresh, crisp and very tasty. I was given many samples of other item. Enjoyed and bought some local made fresh blueberry breakfast sausages. We were going to the cemetery later and found 2 bouquets with a great variety of color and diversity. We found several sweet and savory items at one the baked goods booth. Mmmm. In spite of the cold, the vendors braved the chill. They will be open December 17th and I will return to shop, the produce stays fresh in the fridge longer than usual. I was amazed that musicians were able to play despite frozen fingers! Great spot for a farmers market it's right next to the Grocery Outlet, one of my favorite shopping spots for organic and natural goodies. Also one of the best Aquarium pet shops, the wet spot is nearby. It's a wonderful space filled with aquariums...

I would’ve given it a better score If maybe they had some security or other people around to help with the homeless problem it’s not that they’re homeless. It’s that they were literally pooping on the sidewalks. I almost stepped in human feces twice. There were some great vendors there, but I won’t be going back until it gets cleaned up. I’m not looking for perfect. I’m just looking for a place That is set up better for people to be able to use...
