Killer Burger Hollywood — Restaurant in Portland

Strictly rating the service and how incredibly unorganized this place is run. I ordered online for pickup, was told it’d be ready 15 minutes later. This seems to be a hardcoded number of minutes that they just tell everyone, even though they ask you for your current location to gauge how quickly you’ll be able to be there to pick it up. Red flag #1.

Arrived right around the time they originally said my order would be ready, waited around until five minutes after that time, along with an unreasonable amount of people apparently doing the exact same. Was then told that it would be another 50 minutes until my order would be ready.

At this point I was disappointed by the fact that their automated order system wasn’t smart enough to inform me of this ahead of time, but shit happens, it’s whatever. I then asked if they could just cancel my order and was told that only the manager had the permission to do that, but that they could write my order number down and cancel it once the manager was back. Of course I agreed to this so that I could go get food elsewhere instead.

Two days later, the charges posted to my card. They just forgot or straight up chose not to cancel the order.

If the manager is the only one who can fully operate the ordering system, that manager needs to be available at all times, no excuses. If that’s not possible, the manager can’t be the only one with those privileges.

I’ve instead had to do a chargeback on a food order, which is...

I finally got a chance to check out one of Portland's hot spot burger places and I was not disappointed. Killer Burger has a very simple menu with about 10 burger options. There are 2 for the vegan crowd, and local beers on tap. I decided to try there peanut butter pickle and bacon burger, I know it sounds bad, but it is what made them famous. The peanut butter is more like a very sticky sauce then just plain peanut butter. It give the burger a very sweet and savory flavor and pairs really well with the pickle, beef, and bacon. I'm very picky when it comes to giving a place a good review on a burger, because there so simple, but its surprising how often places screw them up, or just make very bland burgers. I would definitely recommend the peanut butter, bacon, and pickle burger, and really anything else. Everyone seemed to love there food there.

Decor: Killer Burger is very small, only about 5 tables, and they get busy fast. They are very quick and efficient, but don't be surprised if you see half a dozen to a dozen people waiting for an order. They get backed up quick.

Service: quick for a place that can get a large rush. The staff is very friendly and will bring your food out to you while you wait. No...

Love this place sometimes the workers can give you dirty looks I guess depending on who you are I'm not sure for what reason I would of given five stars except for the floor is always sticky and slippery in some parts and for over a year or two I've been trying to get they're apparel a hat a t-shirt a stocking cap anything which they have advertised this whole time but never have been able to supply me as a customer or anybody that I've known to go there also music is great I have no problem with it but it is completely way too loud to where you cannot even hear yourself think and then the employees get mad when you can't hear them or they can't hear you my advice turn down the music a little bit give the customers a little more respect and get some sort of real degreaser for the floor and fix your apparel other than that I love their food their whole concept everything is good that comes out of there I've never had a problem...
