Maya's Event Center — Attraction in Portland

Last year, I rented two halls for my wedding, and we agreed on the price. Then same day wedding, Jose I believe his name was, told me you have to pay more since you got one hall bigger than the other one or I will have to take all the decorations out. And, apparently his wife was running the show since she did not like what we agreed on in the first place. So, he forced me under pressure to pay him extra since it’s my wedding day.. nice halls but I wouldn’t recommend. Look somewhere else with people that stick...

I really didn’t like the organization of the event and how everything was handled. We got the salon package with the food included, but the food arrived super late and cold. The party started at 4 and the food arrived at 6. There was only one staff serving the food and my family had to help serve everything. The lady who needed to serve drinks just told everyone to just serve themselves. The agua de horchata and Jamaica tasted terrible and all the ice had melted. For how much was charged they did a bad job...

Couldn’t have planned my daughter’s XV without maya event center they were both super attentive accommodating to your needs willing to go beyond to satisfy my family the decorations ti the venue were phenomenal. The food was delicious. The venue was clean organized. Servers were respectful bartender was amazing. I can go on and on how amazing this venue is I would highly recommend and plan to use this venue for any other...
