Despite all the good reviews we actually had unpleasant experience with them. We will not return. At the first we went for a tour and noticed that some cubbies are insanely stinky. Like crazily smelly. The facility looks clean so it was very puzzled for us how come some cubbies are smelly like that. In hindsight that might be a signal for a poorly managed cat boarding place.
Other places were not available so we ended up still going with them to give a try. When checked in with them, we were told the room (garden room) we reserved is not available due to maintenance started few days ago. They didnβt tell us about this beforehand. It felt sketchy. They moved us to one the regular cubbies.
The cubbies are ok. They also have a βbird spaceβ on the back of the cubbies that allows cats to watch. We thought thatβs a good idea until we actually saw how birds live there. It was essentially a big cage for birds with very little natural light, and constantly living in fear. (See pictures for reference)
We opted in for daily updates with extra fee and we were told they donβt do updates on weekends (??) This is odd given that they do have staffs on site on weekends. Not sure why they donβt do updates. Throughout the boarding period they sent updates via email with short paragraphs and one or two pictures. Some updates are more details, some just have one picture and a short paragraph. We wish the format of updates could have been more consistent. They also forgot to send me an update on the last day. :(
When we go pick up my cat, we noticed that she has been sitting in her own pee β now dried out pee β for days. We were shocked that they didnβt tell us about this, or just didnβt check in general. My cat was also very frightened as the whole environment is loud (people walking, staff working, birds on the back etc).
The staffs look very burnt out as well.
The whole experience is unpleasant and we will not return.
Suggestion for the business: β’ double down on cleaning β’ check cat tenants more frequently. Sitting in pee is not acceptable. β’ provide consistent, detailed updates β’ would be good to...

Weβve been loyal clients of Meowhaus since they first opened their doors in 2017, and we simply canβt imagine entrusting our beloved cat, βHandsomeβ Hank, to anyone else. With two convenient locations, Meowhaus offers not only accessibility but also consistency in the outstanding care they provide.
From day one, Anya and her incredible team of caregivers have gone above and beyond to ensure that every feline guest receives personalized love and attention. This isnβt just a cat boarding facility β itβs a warm, welcoming second home for your pet.
Hank, our shy and sensitive boy, has truly blossomed during his stays β especially thanks to Shannon, who seems to have a magical touch. She has an uncanny ability to connect with even the most reserved cats, and weβve seen firsthand how safe, relaxed, and comfortable Hank is in her care. That peace of mind is absolutely priceless.
Every stay has been seamless, and weβre always impressed by how friendly, interactive, and attentive the entire staff is. They clearly love what they do, and it shows in the calm, content energy of the cats they care for. The environment is spotless, thoughtfully designed, and tailored specifically for feline comfort β with cozy spaces, enrichment, and plenty of human interaction.

Β Β Β Read moreI took my cat here when he was a kitten for a weekend away and it was fine. Heβs 2 now and we took him for our week long Christmas vacation. When we picked him up his paws were dirty, he was dirty and he weighed about 2lbs less...to be fair heβs not very into being boarded... so we wonβt be boarding him again in general (going to try rover). What concerns me is that when we picked him up we were told he was eating βmostβ of his food. When we got home it was obvious he was very sick. When we were unpacking I noticed they left a paper in his bag tracking his food and water intake and how often he was using his litter box. He had gone almost the entire week eating basically nothing and went days without using the litter box and they didnβt tell me. He also was sneezing very badly and was very scared and also lethargic. Boarding him cost us over 200 dollars, and then another 175 for an emergency room visit right after getting him. Also itβs annoying that you get charged extra for Sunday pick up, as thatβs a common day to return home from traveling. I feel bad leaving a bad review bc the staff was very nice, and even cleaned his carrier for us that he anxiety peed and pooped in on his way there. I get that a lot of this just had to do with cat anxiety, but I wish they had told me he was doing so poorly instead of just slipping a paper in my bag documenting that he...
