Skinwise Rx — Attraction in Portland

I have been going to Skinwise RX for years now. See my 2019 review below. I have since tried more cutting edge treatments that they offer. They are always introducing newer and more advanced services. I love their Korean skin care line. My skin response so well to it, even better than so many more expensive lines.

My most recent laser treatment with Lani yielded results beyond my expectation. My skin looks amazing. I have also seen Hayley and Kelley who along with Lani, are all so professional and caring. They are never pushy nor do they try to sell services that I don't need. I love their social media posts! They are hilarious and keep me smiling while they educate me. 2019 Review Dr. Lani and Dr. Amanda (who just like to be called Lani and Amanda) are truly my aesthetic dream team. Even though they had me at hello, they have continued to impress me with their talent and artistry, medical expertise, professional manner, integrity, warmth and ability to make it all RELAXING and FUN! They are both so gentle and take great care to assure that I have NO PAIN (whew....and thanks!!). I always feel so comfortable during my visits, as though I am among caring friends.

I have been treated by Lani and/or Amanda for the past 5 years and for a variety of laser and injectable services. The SkinWiseRx approach is very comprehensive and effective and has definitely halted and reversed much of my facial aging. They have been able to restore that "healthy look" that I love. Their work is beautiful, while looking very NATURAL (thank goodness!!!) and discreet.

My sister and I have been wanting to come for ages, and we were so happy that we were finally afforded the opportunity to get our laser treatment from Dr. Doser. From start to finish, the process was easy, painless, and extremely well explained. Every single time we called in, the staff who picked up were extremely patient and helpful. There was no 15 minute phone hold time, and the turnaround for receiving all of our documents/patient access was extremely quick. The day of the appointment, we got a quick temp check (love the safety precautions!) and got our numbing cream, which we applied in our car. We were then walked to a powder room, where all the supplies to wash our faces were provided in a cute caddy. As this was my first time getting laser treatment, I had no idea what to expect, but Dr. Doser will absolutely put any fears you may have, to rest. She is so gentle with the laser, and I did not feel anything at all with the numbing cream applied. She also provided a cooling device that you can hold to cool the face as treatment is happening, just demonstrating the extra level of care she makes sure to provide in case there is discomfort. She also frequently checked in and made sure that I was doing well and feeling comfortable. Overall, she is so so kind and the staff are also amazing and enthusiastic about skincare. I can truly tell the team here at Skinwise Rx cares about quality care and the patient experience!...

When you step in, you can rest assured that the staff is doing everything they can to make sure they're still abiding by protocols to limit the spread of COVID -- masking, taking temperatures at the door, sanitizing frequently, etc.

My sister and I went in for a laser treatment on Thursday afternoon and were very warmly greeted by everyone there. Everyone is attentive and incredibly kind -- definitely creates a welcoming and positive environment.

I can't rave enough about Lani -- she is incredibly sweet, smart, and superb at what she does. You'll feel like you're chatting with a long lost friend when you meet her. She does whatever she can to make sure you know that you're in trustworthy hands and receiving excellent care. Lani embodies the best qualities of those in the medical field: expertise combined with compassion and care for each patient. She'll make sure that you're not only receiving the best treatment for your skincare needs in the clinic, but also post-treatment as well. I deeply appreciated how thoroughly and patiently she explained the processes to take care of our skin after our laser treatment.
