This is a pretty cute museum. There's a firefighter statue outside that people tend to balance things on (like a GIGANTIC roll of ground beef(?!)). The guys working there are really friendly and helpful. We just did a quick little tour, which was enjoyable. Read moreThey are only open every Wednesday and the second Saturday of each month. In September 2024, that fell on the same day as the Belmont Street fair. This museum was quite amazing. I did not get a chance to really talk to any of the people working. There was just so much to look at. My favorite was the cab of the firetruck that is a simulator of what it is like to be in the truck when called out for an emergency.
Free admission, I recommend this for anyone...
