This is my favorite bookstore in Portland, by far. I haven't even gone to Powells since I found this joint. It's incredibly well curated, a person could make their reading list just from the front window displays, and the staff are exactly who you'd want to find working at bookstores - smart, interesting, kind people. Read moreFinest Kind! Had a perfectly enjoyable time selling some old (but good! Important. Book stores aren’t junk repositories) books today. Joe pointed out exactly how one was not the first edition I wanted it to be, but rather a book club edition. Still, it had some rarity and value, and along with the others, I was glad to put a few bucks in my pocket while putting some century+ old books back out into circulation on earth.
