OMG! I love this place, it looks straight out of a movie. The owner are nice and really cool, and they can help if you ask. They have a big selection of classic rock as well as modern music. They also have decent sized collections of: Jazz, Electronic, Indie, Local stuff. Honestly you name it they'll probably have it. The prices are fair, maybe just a bit above Discogs prices but they're still pretty good. I also forgot to mention the repair shop in the back. I had a receiver fixed and the price was a bit high, but my receiver was pretty messed up and now it works great. There's also an area in the back of the store has all the cool vintage kitschy items and retro clothes that make me think of my great grandparents house. For those who aren't exact intrested in vinyl, they also have a few cassettes, CDs, VHS tapes (some music related some just cool 80s movies), used record players, tape players and receivers, a few laserdiscs and CED's, guitar accessories, and good insence. They also have a...
Read moreI've been a customer of Electric Kitsch since it came into town in 2012. Jess goes above and beyond to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Jordan is a talented musician and super knowledgeable in jazz and sound equipment. The record collection at this shop is WILD and VAST. All of the music is meticulously organized by name and genre. The Dollar Bin is a fun place to stop if you want some silly album art for your collection or to play some "record roulette" with your friends. But there's not just vinyl in this place! The clothes are a great vintage collection, curated by the owners. I enjoy stopping by just to check out the trinket and miniature collection, and other vintage toys and tchotchkes. 10/10 recommend this place! They also have a "Free Little Blockbuster" out front, adding that special touch of accessibility to physical media in the community. Electric Kitsch seems like it was made just to bring people together over a love of all...
Read moreNothing but great experiences with Electric Kitsch! I’ve brought 2 guitars to them, one that was pretty rare 65ish Fender Jazz-master that I saved from a friends basement and my personal everyday player. Both were better than could be expected when returned. This review is pre-pickup for an awesome Sony turntable I got off my dad that needed some love as well. I’m sure it will be rocking when I pick it up this week. I do wish they had 1 late night seeing as I work 6 days most of the time and don’t get in town when they’re open except Saturday. Always a treasure to find there if you have time to search. I’ve mainly dealt with Jordan and he’s delivered consistently for me. Check it...
