Fort Crawford Museum — Attraction in Prairie du Chien

Very very very cool place. Although the Fort itself is no longer there, the old hospital is, and that's just fricken cool!!! I love history and especially medical history that you can see and touch! Beautiful place, lots of things to learn about. Like the Native American battles that took place here in the Wisconsin area and the settling of the town of Prairie Du Chien in the 1600s!!!! Which in French means prairie of the dog. You'll learn how it got this name if you visit...and so...
