We were excited to try the spot while we were visiting the area. But the service was absolutely terrible. After being told we could sit wherever we wanted. We picked a table and then nobody came to check on us for at least 10 minutes. Our food and drinks did arrive promptly, however, the salad came with no salad dressing and I had to ask for it. Then when we were about done with our meal, we decided to move tables because the sun was coming around, we waited for somebody to come and check on us to let them know that we wanted to move tables, nobody came to check on us. So myself and my child moved to a different table while my husband waited for somebody to come around. He waited there for another 10 minutes with nobody checking on him. So I went to the bar and let the bartender know that we had moved and ordered two drinks and also asked for the check because we figured nobody would come and check on us over there either, which was true. When my husband went up to the bar to pay (bc no one came to our table to take it). They didn't even know that we had moved and assumed we left. We have NEVER not tipped, but this was inexcusable. We were there around 430pm and the place was maybe 25% full and there were multiple...

We ended up at the Backwater Bar & Grill because the restaurant we were planning to visit was closed. The atmosphere and views are probably the best in PDC. Fun, upbeat place with plenty of outside seating. Corn hole tables add to the fun. Live music a few nights each week. The service was “meh”. We ordered drinks and app’s quickly but had to literally flag down our server to get another rounds of drinks and order our lunch. It was first and if we had t already ordered apps, we likely would have left. Food was good. Service improved once we had our entrees. We visited at 12:30pm on a Sunday. Party of 4 adults, 2 children. Spent $140 including tip (no alcohol). I would recommend a visit- would have been more fun sans littles and when they...

Good vibe, ok food but the service is unprofessionally terrible! The waitress started cleaning our table when we still sat and waited to pay our bill, she sprayed the cleanser in a crazy way I felt I had to take kids away because the cleanser was almost sprayed on their faces. My husband later told me the cleanser actually came into his eyes and hurt pretty much. The waitress apologized to him after he complained, and said she received the same complaint from another unlucky customer one day before. She definitely needs more training. Our dinnerware didn’t come along with the food and the waitress seemed to forget to provide later; I had to go to the bar and got...

Wonderful atmosphere, great service, beautiful view. My waitress was very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The bruschetta was excellent. Tomatoes were fresh. I could see the while garlic they used and the balsamic wasnt over powering. The bloody mary, which I had to order, was very good. I love when restaurants use good dills in their bloody marys and add cheese curds (in Wisconsin its a must😉) if Im in the area again I will stop back.

In town to see a friend perform. Glad we decided to eat here. Food was tasty, and reasonably priced. Wide variety on the menu as well. The views are fantastic with seating available on the insanely large deck. Inside is surrounded by large roll up doors for an immersive atmosphere. As part of the Waterfront Hotel, it's definitely a destination package.
