Lawler Park — Attraction in Prairie du Chien

Beautiful view, very relaxing to just sit and enjoy the view. Could use a snack hut or venders for drinks, food, &/or snacks. There is a little bar that is open sometimes but that is amied towards adults. Or even food truck would be cool. I know that we could have used some snacks more than one while we were on the island but there was none to be found! Maybe a couple vending machines with soda & juice, or whatever you choose as long as I big vending machine...

Along the Mississippi River, you'll find this gem of a park. Very well maintained and manicured grounds. The crew keeps it very clean. Plenty of benches to sit, relax and enjoy the tranquility of the area. A pavilion provides some shelter against the elements. Also, an area with playground equipment for children to enjoy. Lovely flower gardens add the perfect touch to enhance the beauty of this park along the banks...

Lawler Park is a lovely waterfront park in Prairie Du Chen with long walking paths, plenty of benches and shady spots, and locations to fish. The park also has a number of exhibit signs along the walking trail that tell about the history of the area. This was a great place to spend some time on a sunny afternoon. We were intrigued and surprised by the novel "charging" benches...
