MISTAKE LAKE is the real name of this establishment with the red beam shooting into the sky like the biggest hardy ever from Darth Vader. You can see our red beam directly from Darth Vader's lightsaber all the way in space they tell you with a proud grin that as they completely slice your pockets; especially, on the slots where they make the majority of their money. If you play slots here you are simply a fool is what I'm trying to say. Lol
I believe the natives deserve every penny they have coming to them especially from the people that have ancestors living today that ravaged their societies and profited off of their suffering like other minorities who built this country. However, beware as this place is the NUMBER ONE grossing Native American casino on the planet. This is not something to be proud of if you are a gambler walking in a place when you know the odds are more against you than almost any other place on the planet. Don't take my word for it do your own research and read other reviews here.
I have been going here for 15 years and given over six figures to this establishment and to this day they still treat me like trash. Even with occasionally being treated like less than a dog by some of the people on their staff like Kevin Green, a higher up at Little Six, I went here to support the Native American community that deserves everything they get and because of a few good people at their establishment that had made me feel wanted for many years.
I know everything about this establishment. They glorify all of the Asians that live around/in the surrounding communities which is fantastic because I believe Asian people should have a place that celebrates them and puts them first. They should have many places where they can receive top notch service. MISTAKE Lake focuses extreme marketing campaigns towards this group of people along with white people that are accepted everywhere and allowed to do almost anything except murder someone on their property before they are asked to leave. 😆 Two Caucasian gentlemen got into a shoving match a month and a half ago at their Asian fusion Food Center. Security was called and not only was no one arrested and charges not pressed by anyone, both groups of people and both gentlemen who got physical with each other were allowed to stay on their premises as long as they stayed away from each other. On God. 😆 HOWEVER, if you are of any other race or ethnicity you will not see much of your representation there because they want it like that. That is how this empire markets. To white people with money and Asian people. They give them the highest benefits, offers and other invitations while dealing with other groups of peoples that come in there. They then do their best to make those other groups feel uncomfortable whether you are with a posse or simply by yourself until you leave. Unless you have a bunch of their money of course. 😆
Again, go in there and see for yourself. I make over six figures and I'm a person of color who has been going here for over 15 years with issues very rarely while visiting. Any issues I had were usually over something absolutely ridiculous where I had to bow down and act like it is a privilege for me to go there instead of them making me feel like it is their pleasure to have me as their guest. The moment I bit back a little they banned me for a year after 15 years of loyalty. TY!
There is a group of really great dealers and Dallas working security is fantastic at her job and very good with customer service and patience unlike her fellow officer working the same head security position at a Little Six who is an ego maniac on the complete other side of the cool spectrum. Some of the pit bosses are cool but most of them are ice cold posts, like pit boss Bao, at Little Six. Another ego maniac who gets off with his little power that is going to end up saving me thousands this year. THANK YOU SCOTT AND BAO! You know where I'll be at.
AGAIN, don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself. When it comes to the truth what can you really say...

I have more to add. I’ve gone a few times since I first left a review bc you drew me in with those free gifts. I have gone on PAYDAY, pocketful of hard earned cash, and had zero issues walking out after losing $20 in 4 mins minimum betting. Idk, maybe you guys don’t understand the theory of loss thresholds. People have to feel like they have a chance to win in order for them to keep putting money into your machines, but your casino is so greedy, you won’t even risk losing a dime giving people false hope, much less a win. I feel like I’m just walking in there and handing you money, you point at me and laugh and then you point at the door and tell me to get out.
No thank you.
——————— Don’t visit the continent’s richest Native casino, $2.5 billion dollars annual revenue. They don’t even bother letting you play anymore. After Covid, I noticed I lost much faster than prior to it. I figured they lost a lot of money during shutdown and had to make it back. Did that make them realize people would continue to go even if there was no value, because you know, ADDICTION and all. They must have realized because now they just take, take, take. Not even allowed to warm their seats. ————— I always hear casinos can’t cheat, they’ll be fined, they can’t mess with the odds, etc, but does that include Native American casinos who are under their OWN jurisdiction and not that of the state and federal government? I’m guessing that’s a no and they can do whatever they want. They don’t break the rules because they make the rules. I haven’t been there in a long time, just thought I’d post a review of my experiences for the last 3 years. ————— To people losing thousands of dollars there—a plane ticket to Vegas is sometime as little as $40. It’s a 3 hour plane ride. Sometimes I’ll go for just 1.5 days. In Vegas, at MGM, I played approximately $2,000 last year, I min bet only, and I’m on the lowest tier players card. The comps run through the entire next year. They give me 4 free nights in a luxury hotel suite, $100 food credit, and freeplay and I can book this offer multiple times a year, even 2-3 times a month if I wanted. I know people who play more and get 10x that. You also get free drinks, including alcohol, as long as you’re playing. Casinos that I visited only one time and played $20 at send me freeplay offers constantly and it’s always a minimum of $50, as well as free hotel stays. ————— I couldn’t even get $1 from Mystic when I lost $1000 there and they basically laughed in my face when I asked about food credit and said my tier was too low. Let’s not forget their incredibly high drink and food prices. I’ve never ever in 2 decades received an offer for a free hotel stay. The only people I know who are getting those are dropping $2-3K a month at Mistake. Monopoly Mystic has ZERO competition, ZERO accountability to anyone, ZERO care for anyone outside of their community, and their number 1 priority is TAKING money. Yes, TAKING money. Making money requires work. Taking is effortless. ————— Stop throwing away your money at Mystic. If you’re going to gamble, visit casinos that have competition and that have to follow state and federal laws, and if they don’t, they will actually get in trouble. If you can’t go out of state, go to Treasure Island. Their comps are...
Read moreThere are good things about MysticLake. There rooms are pretty nice and there beds and bedding feel super plush. I like the game floor. A real decent amount of variety and up to date games. The breakfast at the Minnehaha was rather bland despite the delicious description in the menu. And during the week they do not care to offer any food to be available in the wee hours of the morning. Along with that, not a single microwave to be used at all on property. Talk about ridiculous. Now let's talk about the pool. Is there a legitimate reason the pool is only open 9am to 9pm? That is absurd! Especially when minors are allowed at the hotel. What else is available? A friend told me that there a lot for kids to do at the Dakota center. Supposedly there is a pool there too. My friend also said it's open to all those who get a room. If that's true, I wonder why not a single employee said anything about that. Then there is the situation with the way they hang on to your incidental monies when you use a cash app card. All the staff say the same thing. "It's cash app and it can take 17 - 28 days or more for it to be returned to your card". However there's no issue like this that I've come across, anywhere else. At everywhere else, the monies back on my card the very next day. So, really, it seems that possibly mystic lake has a glitch in their system that allows them to keep customers monies tied up for nearly a month. In which it's quite plausible that they are making interest on customers monies that they should not be holding hostage for so long. Cause it's not like mystic cares. Apparently they train the staff ineptly to handle when a customer is inquiring as to why they don't promptly return the funds as well as to be very rude about it. Cash app says if they get a letter from mystic with specific criteria on it so they can get the money back on the card. The staff says they can't do that. Talk about A load of bs! And another hint pointing to scamming their customers. I bet if they were investigated, they'd be found guilty of something like theft by swindle. Seriously though, while the monies all tied up, I guarantee you that interest is being earned and not by you or me. It's really a shame that greed is what mystic Lake chooses. And maybe they don't see it that way cuz they're just getting theirs finally after all the absurd atrocities inflicted upon native Americans by selfish pompous Europeans. I guess they never were taught that 2 wrongs don't make a right. And what it shows is that the people of this country are ridiculously immature and that's what's wrong...
