Farm Fresh Rhode Island — Attraction in Providence

I love this farmers market, especially for coffee and sweets. But, the gentrification is very real. They opened up a very expensive market place in one of the poorest parts of Rhode island. This market is catering to wealthier individuals, leaving nothing for poorer folks. I don't really know how this gives back to lower income families, but it's hard to afford this food if you don't have a good income. I'll support the booths I think care for the community, but overall, this is just another expensive market place. You won't find a better selection for your grocery needs. Prices may be a little more expensive, but you won't be throwing out your vegetables because they've gone bad after a couple of days.
