Food has been okay or bad- depending on when I've picked up my order. During day time- passible, but evening/night time- horrific experiences. I still come here for some of the food, but only for things Vasillios won't really mess up. I've learned my lesson. 99% of the time it's because no one else is open- it is not because I want Vasillios.
Pizza is made with cheap cheese - pizza always has oil sitting on top of it. The cook has no idea what chicken parm sub looks like. Made a chicken cutlet sub with chicken tenders instead of the chicken parm. Remade it 3 times, and the cook still couldn't get it right after the manager/supervisor explained it to him each single time. That's 4 subs in total. I waited 45min for Vasillios to get it together 3 times, after waiting 20min for the first one, over an hour in total. I got fed up, asked for a refund, called Pizzaria Gusto on my way out of Vasillios, picked up my sub in less than 10min, done just how I wanted it- perfection. Chicken Ceasar Salad - great or bad, depending if it's day time or night time. It seems different crews work day and night. Night crew always screws up way more than day. If you want anything with remote crispiness, you have to ask to be well done. Otherwise, it will be barely cooked. Speaking of barely cooked, if it's FRI/SAT especially in the evening/night; Vasillios is pumping out orders like it's a factory- rushing every order possible. Undercooking the fries, onion rings, wings and/or anything that needs more than few minutes to get to the "golden brown" color. It seems, Vasillios doesn't believe in perfect or customer happiness. Speaking about them rushing - 90% of my orders have been incorrect, especially at the times when I've made some slight adjustments to my order. Such as: added, subtrated toppings, asked for something on the side or asked for my food to be well done. Many times, I've received my order done wrong; I've received someone else order; I've seen customers orders get messed up. I've witnessed drivers get sent out with wrong orders. I believe it is all because they are pushing out quantity, not quality with no care for customer satisfaction, hence 5-15 drivers delivering. After these experiences, I check my food every single time. Which they do not make it easy because Vassilios staples the paper bag with a thousand staples, making it difficult to open it- most of the time the bag rips open and I'm walking out with a ripped bag.
Vasillios drivers: parking right at the plaza entrance & in front of Vasillios steps. Parking at the curb instead of the parking lot, as if they are bound to s wheelchair and can't take two extra steps. Sitting in their cars with doors wide open, smoking weed, blasting music as if it's a block party; all while customers are trying to enter or leave Vasillios and/or the plaza. Many drivers are speeding into and out of the plaza. While delivering: drivers are running red lights, stop signs, passing the double yellow line, cutting corners when making left turns going into oncoming traffic. Disregarding customers, drivers and any laws possible. Im most certain Vasillios drivers driving so recklessly are the reason why PriceRite entrance/exit has been blocked off- preventing anyone including the Fire Department located across the street from using the entrance/exit to/from PriceRite.
I've yet to see any of the Vasillios drivers be curtious to other drivers or surrounding neighborhoods.
Management and employees do not possess any customer skills. Management does not hesitate to argue with customers in person or over the phone. Employees have no training, nor any home training.
The staff and the drivers change on a consistent basis.
Im only leaving this review because Google asked me after my most recent visit. Otherwise, Vasillios isn't worth my rating nor opinion. It's less than mediocre when it comes to food or service. It could be much better. But the lack of self respect as a food service and business is...
Read moreTL;DR: wrong and lukewarm order arrived late with a piece of plastic stuck in the pizza. Take your chances with the mixed reviews, but don't ignore the low ratings...
I won't even bother with "I have never left a review before" or "I don't usually complain" but as someone who also works in service, they were waaaay too unprofessional. This was my first time visiting MA and RI with my husband. We were staying at a hotel about 15 minutes away and wanted something to grab for the night. The hotel conveniently had Vasilios' brochore with coupons so we decided to order there. They said 45 minutes for a small pizza, fries, and a soda and had said the total would be about 5-7 dollars more than what we thought it would be. When I asked them about it, they said it was the tax and delivery fee. The food didn't come for an hour, and when I called to check up on the order, the girl who answered said no order was taken under my phone number. Obviously I was baffled and didn't really know what to do - I just asked her to double check the hotel address and the number and gave her the time stamp of when I called. She then gave me attitude and clearly didn't want to bother double-checking when I asked her to, and hung up on me. Maybe a busy night, more phone calls waiting - fine. While my husband and I then discussed about eating elsewhere, they called me back to apologize for having the order under a different number and said the delivery guy will leave shortly. About 20 mins pass, the delivery guy ends up going to the wrong hotel and after a multiple phone calls with him, we finally get our food, after almost 2 hours of ordering. Food is obviously not hot, and the reason for the upcharge - they added an extra order of cheese fries when I only asked for a cheese on the side. More food than what my husband and I needed, but fine. BUT final cherry on top - there is a piece of plastic out of our pizza....
Read moreI left a review 2 years ago talking about how great this place was… just deleted it. Place has completely fallen off. It’s sad to see a place that I used to love and constantly go to turn to what it has. Not even trying to be spiteful, just really used to enjoy this place so it sucks.
I ordered numerous times over the last couple of weeks giving them the benefit of the doubt, but was left disappointed each time- and when I call to make a compromise for their mistakes, I’m always met with utter disrespect and was told there was nothing they could do. More details below if you care:
A couple weeks ago, I ordered a pizza and a meatball sub and tbh the pizza was great! The meatball sub was horrible tasting and soggy. The fries I got on the side tasted like the oil hasn’t been changed for days. The girl at the register said “we’re really busy you’re gonna have to wait a little while but we’ll remake it” and she’s like spitting on my face smacking on her gum! I just threw out the meatball sub and fries and ate the pizza. Next time I order a delivery (I’m 5mins down the road) the car pulls up blasting music with 4 people in the car, I even gave them a pretty good tip. Everything in my order was wrong. I called them and asked what we could do to fix this and they said they couldn’t do anything because the manager had already left for the weekend and they’ll be there on Monday! They said to BRING THE FOOD IN MONDAY AND I COULD GET A REFUND. Mind you, it’s Friday! Ridiculous. I even offered to come there myself and we can figure something out, they said idk what to tell you and hung up the phone. Idk what happened to this place- but I don’t think I’m gonna be ordering from...
