The last few times I've gone to Tischler's my milk has been spoiled even though the date on the milk jug was two weeks out. In addition I bought heavy cream twice; again the date on the carton was over a week out and it came out lumpy. I think they are changing the dates on their products. This is not the first time I have had things like this happen I just never thought much of it. Last year I bought a frozen turkey but did not check the date. When I got it home and put it in my freezer I noticed a foul smell and then checked the date and it was a month after the sell by date. I will not be going back to Tischler's again. I estimate 50% of staff at checkout (cramped area) half-heartedly hanging their mask down on their chin, so basically not masking, even the manager (Steve). Watched one staff walk completely unmasked from back of store (stockroom and meat prep area) to exit door, guess was end of her shift, but no attempt made to respect customers or fresh produce. Every time Iāve gone, at least one unmasked customer brazenly chatting on phone or smacking gum.

There is nothing at the Jewel or wherever that Dennis does not carry, and you don't have to walk 1/4 mile to find it all. Best deli, best artisan cheeses, every fish, every cut of meat -fuhgeddaboutit! All of the employees are friendly and extra willing to help you, many of them have been there years and years. Dennis doesn't talk about it but he makes a lot of charitable contributions and he stops to talk with everyone that greets him. They have real butchers and the Produce mgr puts out ripe avocados daily. ...
