I am usually happy with my visits here but I was very disappointed in our visit today. I had to try on four pairs of skates before I found ones that weren't so worn and unmaintained that the wheels didn't even turn or one skate pulled severely to one side. One pair of skates had 4 or 5 holes that were completely ripped so you couldn't even thread up the laces. Clearly, they need to throw out their entire collection of quads and replace them. The management had also changed back to the previous management and the wonderful toddler play area had been eliminated. I was so saddened by this change. The music selections were fluffy slow ballads that didn't provide the upbeat groove needed to skate to. I think I heard Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" like five times with strings, but the volume was so soft I can't be 100% sure of what pathetic slow jam it was. For sure, it was not danceable or fun to skate to! And please, crank up the volume! The basketballs at the basketball game were blistered and worn with over-inflation and wear. I paid $27 for 4 people to skate and one "trainer" device but I wanted to ask for my money back. Please update your equipment and return the facility to its...
Read moreAlways hot in there and the teenagers that seem to run the place let anything go. Not a safe place to go anymore. Bring back the lady who used to police the rink or get someone in there who is safety concious. 2 year olds walking around the rink, kids in shoes riding the trainers, constantly playing music that has foul language. When my 6 year old asks me what "N" means... They say the whole word in the songs... It's time for me to never take my family there again unfortunately. I am white, and do not consider the "N" word to mean anything other than the definition, which is "ignorant", there are all colors of ignorant people out there, but the ones that are responsible for this rink are the worse kind from what I see. This is from being at this rink 8 times in the last 2 months, so it's not just a one time management mishap. My kids love skating and so do we, it is a shame there are no rinks around other...
