Eliza Pool Park — Attraction in Raleigh

Eliza Pool Park is a great little park in Raleigh, NC. Nestled in a small subdivision South of Raleigh, the park's main purpose is use as a recreation area, sporting a nice - and large - field, a great track that is about a third of a mile, and a playground. The City of Raleigh could pay a little more attention to this park as the local community does seem to not take of it: often there is trash strewn about. We had a wonderful time at the Walnut Terrace Family Reunion Annual Party on Sunday, June 12th, 2022. The music provided by Smooth, Inc. was fabulous. The people that cooked the fish n chips were great. No seasoning needed! Not even hot sauce! We met some wonderful people that either grew up in Walnut Terrace or it's surrounding neighborhoods. Everyone had a blast!!! Some said they had been there ALL THREE NIGHTS!!! Can't wait till next year. Hopefully, the event will be advertised...

Great park in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of the downtown area at night. Covered area close to playground with plenty of room for an impromptu BBQ. Walking trail is a part of the capital area Greenway system. Game of soccer? There's a regulation field for a healthy adult competition that can also be used for countless other activities or simply as a play area for the little ones...
