MAE Farm — Attraction in Raleigh

They have lots of different locally produced NC products and seem very helpful. However, I purchased a package of Buffalo milk mozzarella from them, without realizing that it was 10 days out of date when they sold it to me. A few days later when I went to sample it, it had liquified in the bag, and that's when I realized it was already expired when they sold it. It was grotesque.

I did ask about this at the store and was simply told that the products are still OK to consume after the sell-by-date. I do not believe this is right but rather than argue the point, I resolved not to purchase products from them again. It seems that in NC it is legal to sell products after their "sell by" date has expired, so buyer beware... always check the date, don't just take their...

The meats and dairy sold here are absolutely delicious and worth every penny. We used to buy organic meats from Whole Foods and decided to try local instead, and I’m so glad we did. We’ve been shopping here for a few months for dairy and meat products and are very satisfied. We’ve saw pictures of a farm and it seems like the animals are well taken care of and have a good quality of life. The staff here are all so helpful and friendly....

They are family run with quality meat and dairy products! They show you they take care of their animals and only deal with others who do too which shows in quality of the product.
