Kitoko Bites - Farmers Market — Restaurant in Raleigh

I ordered from Kitoko Bites 6 months ago via Too Good To Go and left a review about my poor experience based on inaccurate information in the app causing me to drive to 2 different locations - NOT the food or the service. I happened to pass by the Apex location tonight and had a delightful experience talking with the owner who remembered me and my review. She made me a fresh batch of donuts with powdered sugar and glaze and I even tried her sugar free glaze with coconut. Everything was delicious and the owner is very kind, personable, and focused on providing a great product with great service. I'm really hoping to see her return to the Too Good To Go app since there are very limited options for vegans. Do NOT order a Too Good To Go Surprise bag from here. The pickup time was for between 4pm-6pm Saturday November 30th 2024z I arrived around 4:35pm, ended up walking around for 10 minutes trying to figure out where the shop was since this would be my first time there. When I couldn't find it, I asked a nearby vendor and they confirmed where they were supposed to be but the shop is closed and that this isn't the first time they've done this either. I've been following Kitoko Bites since their start with a food truck at the Raleigh Farmer's Market, and their African donuts are amazing! The staff are very friendly and personable as well. The donuts are all vegan, and the gluten free yuca ones are my favorite ("Dirty Snow" and "Yellow Snow" being my go-to orders with it).
