Sunrise Recreation Area entrance gate — Attraction in Rancho Cordova

Easily accessible boat launch. Bathrooms at the front and back part of the park. Bicycle/ jogging path that continues on for miles. At the rear of the park, a huge parking lot that the bike path intersects, and there is a large walking bridge that spans across the American River connecting to the smaller park and bicycle path on the other side of the river. Some picnic tables are available thru out the park. The very popular River Rat Raft Rentals is also here on S. Bridge Street (you turn onto this street from Sunrise Blvd.). Bathroom facilities are small and unisex at the back of the park and dedicated men's and women's in front of the park, and all are well maintained and cleaned daily.
