Dog Park: I know the dog park is new, so here are the pros and cons. Pros: There are 3 sections for dogs. There are nice dog water stations. There are copious amounts of dogs. Agility obstacles. Cons: Not enough parking (people parking on the dirt). No shade (bad during the hot months). Right next to a major street, with only a chain link fence in-between. Dirt flying everywhere. People vaping in the park. It felt like a desert dog park in Vegas. Due to the other dog park closing, there are now 2 communities coming to use 1 park. I'd give it 2 stars, but the center brings it up 1 star to 3. My biggest problem is that they closed the dog park on East when they opened this one. It makes no sense. How much does it cost to keep East open? There is no staff and the people take care of the park. All that is needed is someone to open and close it daily. The center is very nice and has a lot of activities.

Nice park flanking a beautiful senior center. Green grass, nice trees, walking paths. Lots of parking, even shade spots under solar panels. However, not many shaded places to sit, and it was hot when we went. Luckily, there was space for us at the picnic area, but the playground offered little to no shade. My daughter even commented on how hot the slide was on her skin. They have a small kids playground and a little bigger kid playground, but neither are top-notch. Public restrooms and water fountains available. Overall, it's a nice place to take the family and/or hang out with friends.

This place shoudl be called Central park community center. It is so much more than a park. OK so there is a park here with a padded, low impact surface, toddler play area and tubes you talk into and others can hear you on the other side of the playground, swings,(baby type and adult type, monkey bars, crazy fun slides, climbing structures, In the playground it even has a solar cell phone charging station. There are benches all around for parents to sit on while still watching their charges. I love that the entire playground is surrounded by tall hedges to give a sense of privacy and a little protection from the wind. One night when we were here with our granddaughters a beautiful white owl swooped down to say hello and on two other occasions we saw a bat flying nearby. It is quiet at night but well lit and safe. There is a veterans memorial in another part of the park as well as soccer fields for the under 6 set. There are covered picnic areas and beautiful well maintained landscaped areas with flowers and attractive plants. a fountain. this is just outside. Inside there is a complete senior center with A complete senior gym, classes,a computer center with state of the art computers, a snack bar, a giftshop with beautiful yet affordable original creations.various classes, planned group outings and group travel packages, discounted nutritious meals ,served daily, they have a bus that will come to your house and pick you up even if you have mobility issues. A friday shopping trip to stater brothers every friday. There are all ages classes as well and large rooms and ballrooms that can be rented for events.on the north side of the park the Pacific Electric trail passes through and there is even construction underway on the southwest side of 2 pools, one for seniors only and one for the whole community. I am amazed at all this park...

We love this park! Pro's: No sand to deal with, there's foam ground everywhere. The playground is mostly enclosed with two main open exits. There are two playground equipment areas, one for toddlers and one for older kids. There are also swingsets respective of each group. The grass is green and beautiful. There are concrete paths all around with a main circle outside of the playground, (my oldest learned to ride a two wheeler here). There's a nice huge covered picnic area with tables and benches underneath. A nice war memorial was recently placed here that is great for walking through. Recreation building is on site as well as the Senior Center. The Electric Pacific Trail runs by here and has a nice ramp that connects to the park. Riding toy friendly. Lots of parking. Con's Get ready to trek it inside the Recreation Building to use the restroom, there aren't any outside, and sometimes the place is locked up so you have to enter through the front. This park is used for city sports, so once the crowds of families let out, the playground gets crowded. This might not be a problem for...

An outstanding community resource, Central Park offers free and low-cost services, educational classes, and facility rentals to residents. There are picnic areas, playgrounds, and a bike-walking-running trail that extends far past the city limits, connecting with Fontana, Upland, and beyond. The city hosts plenty of classes and community events for residents (non-residents are welcome, too, but for a higher fee). The various-sized rooms can be rented out for your events as well and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Inside there is a lot of space inside and out, along with plenty of chairs and tables for public use. I've come here a few times to get work done, taking advantage of the free wi-fi. There's a snack bar open during the week to keep you fueled as you work and/or study. The parking lot was recently re-done to include solar-panel covered parking, so in the often scorching weather here it's nice to know that the city is being...
