Subway — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

BEWARE! Usually, I have had good experiences at this Subway and with its workers. However, on Monday, 8/11/25 at 12:21pm, the employee working (older african-american woman), gave rude and possibly scammy customer service. When we arrived she ignored our greeting and bluntly stated "what do you want?" She continued to have a bad attitude the entire time she made our sandwiches. When it came time to pay, she asked if we wanted any chips or drink, we said yes if we can make 1 of them a combo. She gave us our cup, which we filled and then continued to checkout. When we finished paying, we asked for our chips (which she needed to retrieve on her side of counter), and she says, "you just said you wanted a drink." We said, "no we ordered the combo." She said, "well then I need to ring you up for the chips, it's $1.99." We just said nevermind then but as soon as we walked out the door and checked receipt, we had been charged for both the chips and drink. When we informed her she charged us, she just said, "oh did i?" Then, she looked at the receipt and asked what chips did we want, no apology, just an annoyed facial expression. I understand how difficult the service industry can be, but felt personally uncomfortable with how awful this entire experience felt due to the employees mean/rude attitude. Hope this can be...

I was completely enthralled by the customer service of this establishment, it was the best I have ever had. I walked in and was welcomed with the fragrance of a thousand smiles that Subway is known for. I was questioning to try something new, and the customer service really helped me with a new choice, and I absolutely enjoyed it with all my love, with all my strength. The workers were the best towards me, and really helped me know the feeling of having a Subway experience, I forgotten the Subway sandwich but it was the best I have ever had, and it really changed my whole outlook on sandwiches, I am forever grateful for this company, but especially the people who worked there, which enlightened such high ideals of knowing, of being, of existence, that I know now that is forever entrenched and known in all ways. Sitting in subway as I write this review and the employees here have zero respect for customer service. At one point the gal with blue hair was talking about her superior and how "the one time she responds to her text... she responds with "voids?" Incinuating her superior doesn't know how to void out an order that she messed up on. The other petite brunette girl wasn't any better as she complained about another customers request to chop his salad. She literally told him there is a "chop shop up the street you can go to" and after he left she proceeded to talk about other "random" requests customers make.
