Terra Vista Apartments — Local services in Rancho Cucamonga

This place is a joke. So many of the reviews do come in as 5 stars because they tell you to enter a $500 or rent free raffle if you leave a great review. That's BS. I've lived here for 2 years and had to get used to living on Mountain view with people all around you who smoke weed & cigarettes 247! We can't leave the windows open & if we turn on the AC the smoke comes in through the vents. Mind you, im a single mom with 4 kids and 2 who have savere asthma. Called front office & security multiple times and nothing has been done. The maintenance guys will come fix something and even say, wow your apartment does smell like weed. Its a second hand smoke stuff we are inhaling 247! They even gave me a few vanilla scented filters to add to the AC filter so it can smell better but none of that works. Its like they also smoke inside their apartment so it flows through mine. WHAT THEY TOLD ME AND READ ON THE PAPER, THIS IS A SMOKE FREE APARTMENT! The people showing the apartments see them smoke outside in their porch and still, they say nothing! Im over this place. Maintenance is amazing so that's what the one star is for but everyone else is scared to play by the book or say anything to anyone about the rules. Its crazy! Parkview is a complete disaster. Very poor management! The pool is extremely loud with screaming all day. My family and I complained multiple times and nothing has been done. No solutions although it's in the rules not to disturb other residents and bring more than 2 guests per household in these areas. Night manager Eric has been rude on several occasions to us and lied yet gets away with it and said it's okay to have parties in the picnic and pool area although that's also against the rules.Our windows are old and outdated, dryers haven't been replaced in over 10 years. We reported this and again no solution. We been banned on the community wall from mentioning issues or even bringing up missing mail, but others are allowed to say anything they want including anti Muslim comments on there. My family and I are not happy here and unfortunately talking about our issues with Shawn Davis has led to no solutions. We get excuses for rules not being enforced. I would not recommend this place to anyone since it's absolutely out of control and not nearly worth the high rent. There's a lot being covered up here for poor management and job...

I just spoke with Susan Nelson in the office, and she was extremely kind and helpful. She answered my 100 questions and was very informative. I have been a tenant here for about a year and i'm about to renew my lease. As a single mom of 2 living here is so nice , it's such a safe and nice place to live at.
