I went there today to buy peaches. They had a lot of them outside in baskets of varying sizes. I read all the signs. The signs clearly said 1 quart was $4. 25, a 4-quart basket was $15, and 4 quarts were $12.

I opted to get 4 quarts since that was obviously the best bargain. When I brought it inside the girl bring it up incorrectly and had to call the manager (owner?) over to correct my charge

He said that he could not honor the 4-quart price. First he tried to say that the 4-quart price was for plums except for the fact that the sign said "peaches"

He then went into a long explanation about how I obviously didn't understand how to read the signs and I didn't understand what a quart was. He was very unpleasant and condescending.

In addition he quickly removed the sign with a 4-quart price. Obviously he saw that it was a real sign and didn't want anybody else taking advantage of the better price

I purchased the peaches anyway and in retrospect I should have just walked away. I also purchased a watermelon that you see in the attached picture. When I cut it open it was all dried out in the middle and most of it is inedible

I highly recommend that you avoid this place. It's a rip-off and...

What a BEAUTIFUL orchard! My friends and I decided to have a fall day and go apple and pumpkin picking and this was the most perfect spot. We walked into the store first, which had the most wonderful smell of warm cinnamon. I think they were baking their fresh cider donuts, oh my. We then walked out towards the orchards. They had animals that the kids could feed, including pigs and goats. They even had horses too. We were able to purchase different sized bags for the apples, which I thought was a fair and reasonable price. The best part was honestly the orchard. I’m not kidding when I say that you can pick an apple blind folded off the tree. Each apple was just perfect and large! I was so impressed. The pumpkins were also very nice as well and fairly priced. The farm was not too crowded and the grounds were well maintained. Staff in the store were very kind and I most definitely enjoyed many of their goodies, including those cider donuts!! They do have homemade ice cream, which I will definitely have to try next time. I will definitely be back!! Thank you Sun Hill Orchards for a...

Came here to get my Christmas tree. Drove by the place in route to some place else and decided to stop. The store attached is a mix of "old country store, and plain outdated". Apart from the preserves there was a lot of blank shelves. We went to get ice cream and there was no sprinkles or spoons. So we looked through the trees and found one we loved. We were helped to pick it up, they cut the bottom and trimmed a few wayward branches. They then wrapped it in a net and placed it on the car. I liked that they use a thick Saran Wrap not just the string/twine. The one thing they do not have is the machine that shakes the tree. We came home and when stringing then lights found a rather large birds nest inside. Kinda scary cause we were inside had to grab something to remove it, and hope nothing as inside or dead but we did and luckily it was empty ( Just messy). Fun fact this was our first Christmas in our new home and the birds nest represent so many good things so I was okay with it once I cleaned it out. Will...

It is $4 per person during weekend or $2 per person during weekday, plus $2.99 per pound of apple 🍎, they do take cash/ credit card, but the price is not what they advertised online. Plenty of apples available to pick, just need to walk around and find the right tree. Parking is not the easiest but they do have someone to guide you, no real bathrooms on site, just the potty ones. They also have a store that sells all sorts of farm products, ranging from tomatoes to cheese. What surprised me is that there are no food truck and live music on site. Good for a quick weekend getaway trip from the Big Apple 🍎!

I saw this place for a brief moment on my way to an errand. After finishing up, I've decided to check this place out. Got a few goodies like whoopie pies and a muffin. I'm not usually a muffin person but just wanted to say the double chocolate chip muffin that was clearly made fresh was sooooo good! I would go back up there just to get more. After buying goods, I went to take a quick visit to the farm animals, feed them corn kernels. It's such a lovely farm and friendly people. Quiet and quaint. I would come back.

We visited last Friday, paid $2 (per person, children under 2 are free) for the apple picking entrance. The kids loved the small petting zoo besides the pumpkin and apple picking activities. So many fresh and delicious desserts to choose at the market. Our favorites were the Apple/Cinnamon loaf bread, the donuts and ice cream. They do accept debit cards but is better to bring cash. The staff was very nice and helpful. Clean bathrooms. Accesible parking (free). We’ll definitely be visiting again.
