I used to love coming here because they usually have the items I am looking for. Today, however, I got profiled as a shoplifter. I'm sorry I wasn't dressed up today. I bought a nice little cane, paid downstairs, and proceeded upstairs and out the door. I started to walk down the street when I heard someone say, "Hey, give me my stick back!". I told the man that I paid for it and asked if he wanted to see my receipt. He said no and took me back into the store. The cashier said yes I paid, and the guy said I could leave. No apology, nothing. That was so embarrassing, but he could care less. I will NEVER go back. I don't need that kind of treatment, especially as a local with family and friends that come to visit. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. I will just let them know about the other places that treat people...
Read moreI love this place! St. Joe's Antique Mall has always been one of my go-to spots, even for dates. They’ve got two floors packed with all kinds of cool stuff to look at. I’ve picked up a few things over time, like a super cute set of four ceramic flower wall hangings that I’m obsessed with. You really never know what kind of treasures you’ll find. I ended up buying a geode for my sister, the former Earth & Space teacher. I fell in love with the mid century modern furniture they had that was in terrific shape.
