It's not too loud or crowded except on weekends when it can really get busy, so you can actually have a conversation with your friends without having to shout over the music (normally!). To say the least, I had one of the best and most memorable experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The breast has been more than accommodating to my needs, but also just in general as a bar, but the bartender Zach kinda gives a homie vibe gives you the feeling that you are at home with your friends, a good place to hang out very well-maintained and well groomed bar where you have an ability to play Some video games and or just the normal camaraderie of a bar to say the least that zach will go out of his way to make sure that you are well taken care of within legal limits and make sure that you get home safely. The Brass Rail is South Dakota's number 1 dive bar. No exceptions. No debate. Hands down the best place to drink a stiff one. Great service and fairly priced drinks. You can smell the history when you walk in. Love the wood paneling, comfortable leather bar stools, and of course, the glistening and always reliable long brass rail of which I can rest my elbows while I stare endlessly into my smartphone.
