Wilson Park — Attraction in Rapid City

Cute little park, walked to from where we were staying, half a mile, to take my dog to. Parking on the street, there's a school and businesses around the park - on the main street side, and residential area on the opposite area.

There was a group of people sitting down near a structure in the park probably to get out of the wind - not sure why they were there but others in the park stayed near the edge of the park to avoid the group. Didn't feel too...

Just wanted to swing by and chill there and have my coffee before my Dr's appointment. Probably never again. Park and the weather are perfect but by the time I closed my door stepping out of my car, I got greated by cops arresting a woman there was 2 man sleeping on the grass and soon as saw me asked for money. Then 2 drunk 🥴 guy's asking questions wasn't really clear so I walked away and left... beautiful place ruined by lifeless people....

I was only there to help a friend fix personal property due to a break in. This is after a string of other criminal activity has happened to this individual because of the vagrants that are in this park. This park is pretty from afar, it's just over populated with with folks who don't have the best...
