Gwen Mireille Salon & Spa — Attraction in Raynham

I haven’t been to a new salon in over 8 years, so venturing to new place was definitely making me anxious. From my first phone call with Gloria to my entire experience yesterday, they couldn’t have made it better! Everyone in the salon was pleasant, smiling and generally had a good demeanor. The clients I noticed were all interacting with their stylist smiling and laughing, very good sign as a new client.

When I walked in I was greeted by Emma, my stylist who to my surprise knew my name! Granted she could’ve read it off the notes but it’s still great customer service. Being in the customer service space for over 10 years, I always notice the little touches.

I sat down at Emma’s station where she offered me coffee, water. I explained to Emma what I was looking for, and she dived in head first! She brought out the color book and made great suggestions for what I wanted to achieve. She was so informative during the entire process explaining her techniques what she was doing and most importantly WHY she was doing it. Emma made my hair dreams come true. Going to a new stylist is nerve wracking experience but after awhile my nerves flew out the window. Emma was confident, which made me confident in her ability! Shoutout to Sabrina as well who assisted in my blow out.

I was hesitant to get my hair cut again after a bad experience at a different hair salon called Bella Rose. I suffer from complex ptsd disorder and anxiety disorder, which makes it extremely difficult for me to cope in public places, especially when some people are rude and unprofessional. I Googled top rated places and found this one !So I went here to Gwen Mireille Salon&Spa last summer to get my hair cut. I have plans to go again this June. I think the people who work here are kind and friendly. I saw Tess she was very nice . I felt safe and comfortable .Tess did an amazing job on my hair . It's sad that we live in a world where kindness and being polite is a rarity .I feel like the overall vibe was good, and the people who worked there were professional and polite .Thank you to the Gwen Mireille Salon & Spa staff for making me feel welcome. I can't say enough good things about this salon! The owner, Brenda, is magnificent. Not only does she do a fab job with my hair but her customer service is also amazing!

I recently found out that I have a serious gluten intolerance and when I went to get my hair done last time I had asked Brenda if/what GF products she had. Since most hair products contain gluten I wasn't surprised that she didn't have any GF products on hand. She could've so easily said, "sorry, we don't carry GF products here". But, no. She went out of her way to do research for me and reached out to other professionals in the industry to find GF products for me to use at home and for her to have at her salon for the next time I come in!

I've only been going to Brenda for about 14 months so it's not like I'm this super long term client that has a long history with her. I'm a fairly new client yet she really went above and beyond to help me. I couldn't be more appreciative!

AND, as mentioned above, she does great hair! I get compliments all the time.
