Redondo Beach Happy Feet Massage — Attraction in Redondo Beach

Literally just left this place. By the way, they charge your card BEFORE you even get the massage. They did not provide a relaxing atmosphere, they were LOUD and talking consistently. I only wanted a foot massage, which is $30-$33. The lady charged my card $53 for a full body massage. She had to call a guy to help her refund my money. She did not do a full 30 minute massage on my feet. After she was done, she proceeded to follow me out of the room to harass me for a tip. Made it seem like I could not leave if I did not tip. I said I don’t have cash or Zelle. She pulled out my receipt and I gave her a $2 tip (she didn’t even deserve that). The massage was not that great or beneficial to my muscles. It was a very weak massage. They most likely are not licensed. She made a big fuss about the tip. I told her that first of all she charged my card wrong the first time, I now have to wait for my money to be refunded AND she did not complete the full 30 minutes on the massage. Mind you, that’s $88 off my card today, even though I’m getting the $53 back, I still have to wait to access that money. This place is BURNT OUT! And they suck at massages. Had a scheduled appointment here but the beds were falling apart, ripped, looked old, plus you are not in a room here. There are only curtains. The place looked so run down I preferred to go to their other location in Torrance so we drove there. We went in for a couple massage and nobody knew how to speak English so I had to use my phone to translate. Only person who can speak English is the person who answers the phone upon booking the appointment. We Paid for the massages before the massages were done and they definitely were not up to par. After having a horrible massage the women who performed the massage DEMANDED A TIP! Literally followed us to the door and kept saying tip tip tip in a mean horrible manner. Massage was ok, but if you want quiet, this is definitely not the place.

Took off 3 stars for the following. Too much loud talking to each other, too much dropping and throwing things around on the floor. Cannot relax enough. You are required to pay up front. And charge $3 for use of your card. Also, they "suggest" you pay a $10 tip and are VERY PUSHY about it. I only had $6 in cash on me and kept pointing at the $10, then tried to tell me I could put it on my card. No ma'am, take what I give you or don't take it at all, plus your charging me for use of my card, that eats into your tip. I made sure I put $0 in the tip area. I have a feeling I need to make sure they do not charge my card extra.
