Spear America South Bay Spearfishing — Attraction in Redondo Beach

Dave is a great guy. Thought I would check out Spear America a few months ago and I have been coming here for everything ever since. Spear tip sharpening, speargun bands, speargun repairs, etc. He takes care of his customers and I always can trust him to take care of my dive buddies I recommend to his shop. He will price match for most items. For a complete novice, Dave really took his time to go over everything I needed to be prepared for the type of dives I will be experiencing. I really appreciated his insight and advice on where to spend the money and where to save or skip. A+ Service!

If you’re new to the sport or a salty sea dog, I highly recommend going there as your first stop. The amount of time you will save with their experience and insight will save you hours of online research and shopping. Time you could be spending in the water. Highly recommended!

I have visited the shop several times and got great support from Dave every time. I'm mostly a scuba diver with only part time spearfishing activities underwater so it was great to have Dave provide help and show me proper ways to set-up, repair and check my speargun, bands, shaft and tips.
