While this is not a luxury hotel, rooms are stylish and neat and the managers are nice. The rooms face the courtyard which is a parking lot but they’ve done a nice job with their landscaping with roses and other flowering plants.

The exterior feels worn and it can be noisy outside. One night a blaring car with sub woofers playing in the lot. The computer and the printer are older model. Printer has been on fritz-and unfortunately I needed to print a large document and the manager was helpful in getting that done.

The reason I would rank this lower is you have to remind room service to clean your room. Or else they won’t clean it. But even if you do, it might not happen. I’ve asked to have my room cleaned every day but it’s often skipped because I’ve been here over a week. Thankfully I’m back early so I could ask. But I wish I didn’t have to chase the cleaners down. Service is nice but clearly some miscommunication).

When in left in the morning, I reminded them to clean my room. Just got back at 4:00pm. Room skipped. I told by cleaning staff, they didn’t know. When I called the front office, I was told I needed to request cleaning-which I have. And I also requested cleaning-every day but that doesn’t work. You have to ask daily. Told there was nothing they could do. That cleaning staff is “always trying to leave,” and if they had to leave before my room was cleaned-there’s nothing they could do but bring up a “few towels.”

I had an awesome experience at this hotel. I stayed at this hotel for 6 days and I have absolutely no complaints. The rooms were very clean, and they had the appliances needed for our stay that some other, more expensive hotels did not have. The daily price rate was good, and the staff were all polite and professional. I did not get everyone’s name that I encountered during my stay, but I would definitely like to give KUDOS to Candy (Candice) and Miguel. They were absolutely a delight to deal with, they were caring, made sure that the customers were okay, and they did this all with a smile. I was in California with my Mother and my 7 yr old son, and they both feel the same way about the stay at this hotel. We literally had a real bad experience at the original hotel I booked for the stay and we checked out the next day and came to Best Western and I’m really glad I did. When ever we come back to California to visit this is the hotel that I will choose to stay in again. The entire staff was very pleasant and friendly. The staff made us feel very comfortable and it was quiet and close to many places that we needed to go. I recommend this hotel...
