Course: 5/5 stars Starter: 5/5 stars Course workers: 5/5 stars Club house worker: 2/5 stars
All around a beautiful course! The greens were well maintained and fairways nicely kept. The starter was awesome, giving me some details on the course layout and what to expect on their signature 15th hole (one of the prettiest i’ve seen), he also checked in with me on the turn to 10th hole. Overall, very nice guy who made the round that much better. The workers on the course worked very hard - you can tell by the condition of the course - well watered fairways and greens - and always courteous.
One thing that hampered the round was the club house rep - not very professional and not on par to what i expect from a nice course. I booked the round the day before with notes that I would need to rent their clubs (traveling and golfing just 1 day, so did not travel with my clubs). When I checked in, I asked if he had any clubs, he acted surprise that I would need clubs. I told him i will need stiff shafted clubs, and he got me “stiff” shafted clubs. I also bought a bucket of balls to warm up, which he said I would have to go down to the cart return area to pick up (it’s down the stairs, then I have to walk back up to the driving range area?...that’s not that efficient). I shoulda checked the clubs before I left, but when I got to the driving range to warm up, it was a Regular shafted set. Went back and he didn’t even apologized for the error and acted like i was bothering him (he was just chilling on his seats watching soccer on the tv). I guess he didn’t believed me so he had to check all my clubs to make sure they’re Regular shafts. Finally, after inspecting all the clubs, he got me the stiff shaft Titleist set...that comes with mud on all the club faces. I asked if he has anything to clean it, he said no, but I should be able to wipe it off with a towel (I KNOW THAT! THAT”S WHAT I”M ASKING FOR!), but surprise surprise, I didn’t have any towels, because I’m renting the set! He said I can get some towels from the guys down by cart return area. If I spend $130 for the round + rentals, I expected some kind of service from the Club house. I understand if he was busy and there were a lot of people there that he needs to help, but I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THERE! I had a 633am start time and I checked in at 605am so I can warm up. After all the back/forth, i got maybe 5 minutes before my tee time, so I got to hit maybe 10 balls before I had to head down to the road to tee off. Overall - impressed with the course and people working ON the course...disappointed with the level of “service” from the...
Read moreUpdate as of 11/14/19, still nothing has been resolved, I used their services for my wedding and this was my review I left back in September hoping that it would warn other people.
Hi, I got married here on 7/24/19, my wedding was great I loved the location and the ability I had to have both the ceremony and reception at one location. They have multiple great locations for photos. However, I was greatly disappointed and still am disappointed in there staff, I worked with Julie as a coordinator (which I hear she is no longer there), I was told I’d get to decorate the night before, but she had supposedly double booked and they didn’t decorate till around 3 the day of my wedding (and it started at 4:30) she had decorated how she wanted versus how I had drawn out how I wanted it, things were missing, and they weren’t all in the right spots..... In the planning process as well trying to set a time to go over last minute details took me weeks of reaching out before we were able to sit down and go over everything. Later in the middle of my reception I went to find her because I had some questions for her and she was no where to be found... They told me she had left for the night, I had questions regarding breakdown and when I needed to be cleaned out of there, so instead of leaving at the end of the night I was stuck cleaning up everything because the other staff there said I needed to have it out. I also had multiple items that I had left with Julie specifically go missing and have not been able to reach anyone to get them back. If you decide to get ready there, they have locker rooms, • people kept walking in and interrupting us •the AC was NOT working, so we were literally sweating off our makeup we just had done • there are like no mirrors (we brought our own) but it still was everyone crowding trying to get ready The day after the wedding as I’m leaving for my honeymoon I checked my bank account and realized I had been charged practically $900 more than what was NOT in our contract. When I contacted Julie about it she said she forgot to include gratuity and forgot to apply my holding deposit and would refund me that money. So I have spent the last month reaching out, messaging and calling trying to get this figured out because I haven’t received anything, and people say they will contact me and I never get called. Anyways if I were trying to keep a stress free wedding planning/wedding day I would NOT suggest booking through them unless they get new management.

Read moreLet me start with the fact that we do not at all recommend Lakeridge Golf Course and would like to also say, our coordinator Sandy, was unprofessional and unpleasant throughout the wedding. Sandy did have a bag of snakes to sort out for our wedding as the previous coordinator left the company without notice and did not take notes on many things, making it so we had to relatively start from scratch with the plans for the ceremony and reception. Although stressful and cumbersome, my husband and I were willing to deal with all of that, but Sandy’s behavior was so poor we made calls to the corporate office on two occasions and asked for assistance, which never came. Sandy would set up meetings and then not show up, and then the wedding came and things got worse. She was difficult to talk to as she spent most of our meeting times telling us how busy she was and how stressful her job was. We understand, but that is inappropriate to say to a client. The real clincher was the end of the reception, she began looking through my boxes when we were on our way out and when I asked her what she was doing, she told me she was checking to make sure I didn’t steal anything. To say that was offensive was an understatement. If I wasn’t so tired, I may have had a few words with her and later on her boss. She was not knowledgeable of the venue she was selling and would repeatedly tell us incorrect information. She asserted that it was not possible to keep golfers away between the ceremony and reception, a fact I find hard to believe for a venue that boasts of its wedding possibilities. If she is still there, I would suggest to anyone to ask for someone else, or simply, turn around and leave. Lakeridge Golf Course is not worth...
