:::NOT ON WORK QUALITY AS I DIDNT GET THAT FAR:::::So part of this is my fault for not calling first but when you look online and it says open and closes at 7pm and it’s 1pm you don’t think anything of it. And if there was more professionalism/customer service when I called this review wouldn’t have been done. I get to the place and on the door it says will return at 6pm and it’s only 1pm. And then I see on the door walk-ins are from 3pm to 7pm which isn’t mentioned on the google search and there’s no working linked website. So I call the number thinking maybe it was a mistake or the dials fell on the clock deal but whatever guy answered (guessing owner) his response to all my questions was “yeah” in a deep, trying to sound tough, voice (my interpretation to give context). No friendly sounding, didn’t ask what issues I had with 2 PS5s, only time I got a different answer other than “yeah” is when I said “okay…thanks”. This is disappointing cause all the reviews on this places work is amazing and I collect classic consoles, have lots of consoles and would of been nice to have someone close with that quality of work but when you run a business professionalism and customer service go a long way and with me first impressions are everything. While my business won’t hurt his bottom line I gladly took it elsewhere out of town. Smh very disappointing.
Update 2: little room left to respond properly so let’s short hand this response. I took responsibility for not calling ahead not. You seem to think I care about the gas and time, I don’t that’s on me not you as I said. The review again is ONLY about the way you spoke to me on the phone. You NEVER said “right” only “yeah” and never mention anything about appointments only to ignored you and still show up, cause remember, I was already there cause I didn’t call ahead. just ridiculous to be scared of a voice, I said “trying to sound tough in a deep voice” giving context to how you sounded. Again never felt any kinda of way at you for not calling ahead it was how you spoke to me with an attitude/lack of care. Was unprofessional. I didn’t attacked you personally you went after how I was raised. And I agree being kind costs nothing, next time remember that when you answer the phone. This review helps those who don’t like being talked to the way I was and those who appreciate professionalism from those they want to do business with. Do Better be better. Have a phenomenal day!
Update: you seem to miss the point. I said that going there without calling is partly my fault, I can even say fully my fault for not calling if you don’t wanna take any responsibility for it saying you’re open and not being open. I don’t care about the time or gas wasted I can afford it. I’m referring to how they answered and spoke on the phone aka customer service and professionalism. Which was the whole reason for the bad review. See you speak about how I was raised, fine you wanna go there my parents also taught me to take responsibility for my actions apparently not everyone was. Read the whole thing, I praised the company for the amazing reviews on quality of work, that’s never been in question. If i was rude or had an attitude for no reason, then yes by all means respond accordingly but i wasn’t therefore no need to speak to customers like that. It’s the basic principles of running a business. You’re entitled to feel how you want about my review but it’s the facts, nothing more nothing less. If you were the owner I spoke with then Maybe contemplate a little on how you answer the phone and speak to potential customers if what I said bothered you enough to say all that. if it was one of the owners on call employees the maybe educate them on how to conduct themselves (speak to potential customer's) when working for others. Read moreCOME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED / SCAMMED BY A SHODDY BUSINESS. Does not even deserve the one star. Brought in a PS5 in need of an HDMI repair (PS5 fell from tv stand). It was not ready by the date we were told as they were out of town. It's one person running the business, I get it, no problem. Was delayed a second time because he just finally got around to it. Thought maybe he just had a lot of work on his hands. Anyways, finally picked it up and brought it home for it to work for maybe a few seconds before it shuts off again. No biggie, he offers a guarantee for the repair. When I bring it in to him (as he offers a guarantee for his repair), he says it "looks like it was dropped again" and tries to charge me for a second repair. I am not one to take advantage of a service ESPECIALLY a small business. The PS5 was never dropped again, obviously learning from the initial incident (in which someone else tripped on the cable), yet he insists its not possible his repair failed (or "attempt" I should say) . We live only 3-4 blocks from this business in which it was guarded the whole way back home so it wasnt a bump on the ride back that did it either! I see why he NEEDS to be his own boss now, otherwise someone could hold actually him accountable. I don't leave reviews, but after being so wronged, it's only right I warn others before they experience the same.

Read moreI'm not very happy with the customer service I received from SBL Games, Inc. The assistant to the owner was not professional. She did not formerly introduce herself to me. She made me go the bank to get cash to pay the deposit because she didn't have the device to swipe on her phone. She kept apologizing and tried to make jokes during the time of our interaction. At this point I was very annoyed. She didn't give me a copy of the paperwork I filled out nor did she sign the receipt. They had my PS4 from December 23rd to January 1st. because they were waiting on a part. I didn't mind waiting for the part its just the fact that the assistant didn't know anything when I asked about the time frame or how long for the part. When it was finally time to pick up my PS4, I made a 10am appointment with the assistant and she didn't show up. I called the owner (Steve) and he came to the office to assist me. I told him of my experience with his assistant and how unhappy I was with the customer service I received. Steve was very nice and apologized for his assistant. He walked me through everything that he had done along with showing me pictures of my unit before he fixed it. He tested it to make sure it wasn't overheating and told me if I had any problems to let him know. His assistant finally showed up at 10:15am and said that she fell asleep.
