Traditional Jewelers — Attraction in Ridgeland

This is the only jeweler me and my family will use! We have never had a difficult or negative experience with any employee of Traditional Jewelers (we’ve been to their Madison and Biloxi locations). Always a welcoming environment when we walk in, and easy experience as we tell Mr. David (the owner) what we are needing this trip! Me and my mother recently went in to have some pieces of my grandmother’s jewelry looked at and David worked with us to come to the best conclusion as to what should be done with the pieces. This is just one example of one of our trips to Traditional Jewelers where we had a great experience. Even my current boyfriend knows where he will be shopping when the right time comes for us🤭 Although the Madison store is not “close by” seeing that i live in Brandon, it will always be worth the drive to shop in a place where I know I am appreciated and valued! If I could give a negative 5 stars, I most certainly would. I had a very underwhelming experience in this store. I have experienced this on two separate occasions in this store from the same white male. Upon walking in, I received ZERO welcome or greeting. Not even a simple “hello” or “hi” or smile. We were completely ignored. This establishment is racist. Agin, I have experienced rude treatment here not once but twice. The first time, I thought it could’ve been a fluke, so I gave the benefit of doubt. Second time, same exact experience. It was apparent what it was—racism. Excellent service from David Capton. I stopped in to inquire about a pair of earrings bought from another jewelry a couple years ago in Nebraska. The earrings have been a staple for me to wear every day until the back hinge type closure would not work anymore.
